You cannot actually make your shoulder bones any broader. All you can do by exercise is to enlarge the muscles in the area to give that impression. Push ups will also increase the girth of your arms and your chest by enlarging the muscles in those areas.
Have a Happy and pleasant 2008.

Push ups engage the pectoralis major muscles, and if you pushups and other chest excersizes on a weekly basis, you may very well build muscle there which will help with definition. Since your cup is a little small im sure it will help to some degree, if you were a double G and had saggy breasts then pushups dont do anything. As for the shoulders, no one has EVER became muscular if they dont want to, so dont worry its not gonna be against ur will, you will have to work towards having broad shoulders. Pushups engage the ANTERIOR deltoit which is NOT the side of the shoulder, so your shoulder will NOT become broad. Besides you are a women meaning you cannot physically create muscle that will look manlike (bodybuilding females take steriods) due to lack of testosterone. Dont worry so much be happy with wat you have, pushups along with some chest excersizes MAY help ur chest problem, and they will NOT create broad shoulders. Cheers.

The key to broader shoulders is strengthening your pectorals, and your upper back muscles. Push-ups are the best way to do that without any equipment. Bench press is even better; it really isolates the exact muscles you’re looking to build. You might be surprised to know that squats will also give you broader shoulders. Always be sure to breathe in when you’re lowering the weight, and then exhale with force as you press it back up. That’s key in these exercises to working your muscles in the right rhythm.

Push ups build pecs more than delts (shoulders). If you want more effect on the delts, do decline push ups. Put your feet up on your bed or a chair and when you get good at that, try putting your feet up against the wall so you're up-side-down. Those will really build delts.

push ups are one of the best upper body exercises. They work you triceps (the back of the arm), your latissimus (side of the torso) and, yes, the shoulders. If you can already do a lot of pushups, try putting weights on your back to increase resistance. For size, better do few hard ones than a lot of easy ones.

Yes It does work. All you have to do is to do around 5000 push-ups 3 times a day, that will widen your shoulders by a fraction of a centimetre.

pushups and situps they tighten up your whole uppear body and strengthen your core.. however they do not in particular widen much...
why don't u try and go on a weight lifting program..you will just need 45 mins per workout, train each muscle once per week.. workout 4 - 5 days per week,
this will give you more overall results and faster results.... your body is going to get use to all these pushups and will not change much.
