1. All Gods in all religions actually exist.
2. Every God in every other religion besides yours does not exist. Yours is the only God out of the many thousands that exist.
3. All Gods including yours does not exist.

Whats more likely? Or if you dont see this as a matter of probablility we can use the surprise principle. Really simple we make an observation and see which hypothesis best supports the observation.
O = Observation H= Hypothesis

O - There are thousands of Gods in hundredes of religions.
H1 - All Gods exist
H2 - Only my God exist all the others are false
H3 - No Gods exist

Which hypothesis best supports the observation. Or which observations would be a "Surprise" if it were true.
I.e. Based on the Observation it would be a surprise if H1 were true. Therefore O favors H2 and H3 over H1. What does O favor more between H2 and H3. What would be more of a surprise if it were true.

Newsflash - This is not science people. The surprise principle is part of philosophy.

KT - Nooooo. Philosophy is not a science. Science is part of philosophy. In Newtons day science was called the natural philosophy. Make no mistake about it philosophy
(Love of knowledge) is the mother of all human inquiry Science is her prodigy child theology is her black sheep retarded son. The sceintific method comes from the great philosophers Aristotles philosophy on different types of reasoning (Deductive, Inductive, Abductive).

I have one for you. In observing YOU and your history of questions, I have came up with 3 hypothesis myself. Please read them carefully, and again, this was done by simply "observing" as you stated above.

H1. You are seeking desperately for the truth because you are beginning to doubt your own disbelief in God.
H2. You are merely just trying to overthrow the faith of many through your own disbelief in God.
H3. You like to hear yourself talk.

Unfortunately you cannot answer my question though because being the subject, the results would be biased therefore totally unreliable. Obviously H2 is the answer to your question above, and this conclusion can be drawn by SIMPLE observation of recorded facts, archeology, eyewitness accounts, science, and personal experiences. I'm an atheist but I know exactly what your getting at, and can I just say - excellently worded question
1) all God' could exist - why not, no one's proved they're not up there arguing and playing poker.
£) No God exists - fair enough, science makes creationism etc a bit old fashioned.

2) Close mindedness, an attitude that leads to unhappiness, loneliness and war. You can not just wipe out ever thing with no proof. One religion can not be Proven to be right - there is no answer for any of it. But all this one god stuff in the holy books is just exactly the same as this:
There is one true shaving cream - all the others will cut you but this is super smooth. If you touch another shaving cream your legs will have ingrown hairs forever and you will never reach the immaculate shave.
Yes it's silly but so is loving one cult and trying to kill all the other people - even those with the same religion and slightly different views. This thinking lead to the Holocaust. Have we not learnt to open our minds- and be sensible and loving and logical. Not Rightous and pompous and ignorant. I apologise if some finds that generalisable.

The set outline that you give is like preparing an unknown dish with a set recipe. The outcome is predetermined, call it what you wish. When the likelihood of a Deity is contemplated there are an infinite amount of possibilities. Including the one that I give below;

H4- Deity(ies) is/are (a) physical unknown(s), and therefore may be defined by the worshiper.

Natural law demonstrates that qualities are inherited from similar ancestors, and that is why I believe the closest study to G#d is a study of Humanity's history, possibility and future.

It is utterly amazing to me that you are attempting to calculate the existence of God, when all of science, mustering together it's loftiest intellect cannot even calculate the margins of the finite universe.

Your hypothesis are flawed because they are based on a false observation. There are not thousands of gods in hundreds of religions, rather there are thousands of beliefs of God in hundreds of religions.

The existence of God if scientifically approached must take into account all of the evidence within the present universe which as many prominent scientists agree is absolutely unsurmountable. Intelligent design is fast becoming the undeniable position in the scientific world. The odds that all the delicate conditions required to make life possible in a hostile universe happened by mere chance are as astounding as the odds of your H1 and H3. Thus you have left H2 as the only possibility.

I think this is a bit biased, but I like the idea of it.
The only ones that would pick H3 are either:
A) Atheists who didn't read the title (dang it)
B) People who follow the Flying Spaghetti Monster or the Invisible Pink Unicorn
C) People who don't know what religion is (I envy you)
D) Can't read

Still though, it's very nicely presented there, except *some*
people might not understand the vocabulary in it.

Silly theists

You have asked for my thoughts and opinions and then restricted them......as they fit into neither catagories.

While I can concede that there are other gods, in fact, the commandent, " Thou shalt have no other gods before me", bears this out. Some are mentioned by name in the Bible. How many there actually are is unknown. The Holy and Living God is the True and Supreme God.......He alone is worthy of my worship.

"H2" is self contridicting........if only one exists, there are no others which can be false. It seems as though you went to a lot of needless trouble. A simple "how many Gods do you think there are?" would have netted the same response from me.

Many others before you have tried to prove or disprove God eversince science became important to people.
The funny thing about God is that you cannot prove or disprove him with human science. He is over and in all things and the mind is not big enough to grasp all of him. You can only believe or not believe. I personally believe there is God and I wouldn't give a damn if your mathematical example came to the conclusion that there wasn't any God, for me God still would exist. I am currently more interested in finding a truthfull way to God...most churches nowerdays are too concerned with power and things to actually have enough room for God.

ugh,,, I completly agree with you, I dont understand how these religions can possibly claim that theirs is the best.

I.e - baptist priest sodomizes a young white girl in SC
- catholics seem to think that for a price they can sneak a demon into heaven, meanwhile their pastors are raping little boys.
- Jehovahs wit - threaten to ruin your family life and friends should you decide to question their obsurd extream ideals.
-mormons believe that you still owe god a tenth, even though god isnt getting any of it, and their pastors own 400 sq miles of land and drive caddies
Omish- screw how a 14 year old girl feels, she is now mrs tuesday, and by the end of the week, she will be pregnant with my 24th kid, or... hold on,,, was that my 5th wife.. shoot... 6th?
