kwxilvr, I said astrologers, not astronomers. The guys with the zodiac and horoscopes? Not the scientists.

Actually, scientists DON'T ask anyone to merely believe. Science demands that DOUBT be your primary stance. Science goes on to suggest that if reasoning and evidence offer a reasonable solution, that the proposed solution (that is, theory) be "accepted" provisionally. Provisional acceptance can be strengthened as long as new evidence continues to support the theory; but if evidence suggests that the theory is incomplete (or even wrong), the theory can be discarded. Science thus tends to improve (while religion tends to remain stagnant).

Based on this approach, religious and spiritual explanations for anything fail primarily because they don't begin and end with doubt. They require faith. Faith is failure.

that is the point... Stop believing... Belief is a conjecture, is to assail in which you do not know, or to convince yourself of something you have never experienced. Knowingness is absolute... Experience is the bringer of truth, thus gaining wisdom...So if you have never experienced something how could you know the truth. The only way you will find truth is to experience.... But first get knowledge and choose to know!!!

I've found more evidence for astrology than for the Bible.

I'm prepared for the thumbs-downing to begin...

I don't recall the last time an astrologer "asked" me anything. Let's not even get into the last time an astrologer left crap on my door or my car, or knocked on my door...ugh. Astrologers don't ask you to believe anything, and they don't shove it down your throat, either. If you already believe in it, come on over and ask your OWN questions...they're not going to preach to you outside the supermarket. Thank Goddess!

I have seen some really gorgeous Zodiac art, so I guess I'll go with astrology.

Your ? makes me so sad. I am a christian but I'm not going to shove all my beliefs down your throat ok. All I'm going to ask is that you do one thing. Go to a quiet place where you are all alone and say a prayer to God. An honest prayer. In this prayer ask God to come into your heart. Ask him to help you beleive and he will. I have not always been a Christian but I can tell you that if and when you say this prayer God will show himself in your life. You have to be willing to see. GOD bless u:)

I believe because the eyewitness testimony of Jesus life, ministry and miracles recorded in the gospels is convincing to me. Read them for yourself and see if they're convincing to you.

What evidence do you have? A science book? I believe in science, however, it must be true and good science!

GOD bless
