I usually holiday in August in Greece and the islands. Last night I did a sunset shot out my window. I wont do anything with the shot. You decide how it come out:

Should I crop the top 1/3? what you think?

I took about 200 or so images this year for personal use. A few are great, the majority are just documenting the events of our family during the season. I will look at them in the future and remember how the grandkids looked opening their presents, or how Aunt Margaret had spinach in her teeth, ya know, just the usual stuff! :-)

I also did a Santa shoot or two. Those pictures went home with the kids, or in a couple of cases onto greeting cards.

Antoni, the sunset has some beautiful color! At first I though, yeah, crop the top, but then I think, no. Don't crop, the bright area isn't a distraction, and I like seeing where the light is coming from.

Hope all had a great holiday, and Happy New Year!

This year I didn't take any pictures. I've never liked the ones I've taken during holidays - always so posed or the people are annoyed that you're taking their pic. I save getting the pics during outtings and spontaneous family events.
