If there is a return of the draft, yes you can be drafted. B/C you are a registered resident, you should have an I.D. of some sort. You also participate in voting. Have a social security number. Earn wages that are logged in the IRS. You are also prone to be chosen for jury duty. You may also have to register in the selective service system if you're over 18, draft or no draft.

The draft was abolished in October 1973 by a signing by then President Nixon.
No resident alien OR citizen is required to serve, the military is 100% voluntary now.
And pay no attention to dweebs who say 'they' are going to start it up again. It won't happen. You have to register, but that means diddly. The draft is abolished.

I wouldn't worry about it unless there is a draft. And I wouldn't worry about that unless the Democrats win next November. Democrats have been the only ones pushing for it.

in the USA, you live here, you register, you get drafted same as citizens do. Call it a price of your residency!

If your not interested in serving the country in a time of need, you need to go back to where you came from.

Yes, and illegal aliens as well. Both are required to register with selective service. I bet a lot of people don't know that.
