Should be even better the next day because the flavors will blend. Brush lemon juice lightly on apples or pears so they do not turn brown. Bananas should be added just prior to serving.

24 Hr Fruit Salad - make it up to 1 day before
Dressing
2 eggs, beaten
2 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp pineapple juice
Dash of salt
8 oz Cool Whip

Fruit Selection (Use any variety of fruit, 6 cps total)
Pineapple Tidbits, reserve 2 Tbls of juice for dressing
Mandarin Oranges
Red &/or Green Grapes
Apple Chunks
Strawberries
Banana Slices, see tip below
Mini Marshmallows, see tip below

Beat the eggs in a sm pan with the sugar, juices, and salt. Turn on the stove and heat over med heat. Add the butter and heat until boiling, stir constantly to keep eggs from separating. Cool completely and mix with whipped topping.

Add whatever fruit you have chosen to use, stir gently. Refrigerate for 12-24 hours before serving.

If you use Bananas, don’t add them more than 6 hrs before serving for best results.

If you use Mini marshmallows, don’t add them till right before serving as they tend to get mushy after a few hours.

Yes. Add a little lemon or lime juice to keep any of the cut fruit from going brown or wilty, and make sure you keep it under plastic wrap in the refrigerator.

Those fruits are fine to cut and mix the day before serving. Just make sure they are tightly covered and kept in the fridge.

Yes it is no problem. As a matter of fact letting those fruits set together overnight will make it even more tasty and flavorful. :) Oh yes, don't forget to keep it covered
