A local county health department can help with education and free testing on any STD's. So, make it a date to BOTH go and play it safe. Why not? *** I am HIV+ and I was lucky to find out in time to get treatment. I live a health life for over 10 years positive. Lets stop the madness.

if you go to a sexual health centre they don't need to know any details, thats what they do all day.
*if you are refering to asking a partner to get tested......if you feel comfortable enough with them to be contemplating sex, asking them for a test should be no problem, and they should respect/like you even more for worrying about your health/body. If they get upset, or defensive, there may be something in their past which is cause for concern...and aren't worthy of having sex with you in the first place!
