I am really scared, my dad has been complaining for weeks that the area in this pancreases is hurting. He find fallen down from a latter, then after 2 - 3 days it started hurting. He seen the doctor, and they look inside and found lymph in his intestine. They cut it all out, and said he was fine.
However, it still continue to hurt. So he went to the doctors again. They did a total scan, and found nothing, except for that his small intestine had expanded. It didn't hurt for a few days... But now it is christmas and he suddenly feel the pain again.
I can see his pain, because of his facial expression. Please Please tell me what is wrong.... I don't want anything to happen to him.

He needs a specialist... tell him to get a good recommendation for a gastroenterologist. They are the doctors that make the call if something is wrong or not. Primary care physicians can only go so far, and most ER doctors aren't specialized in that kind of treatment. The pain can be handled with steroids and other anti-inflammatory medications, but only a trained specialist can make that kind of call.

Lymphangiectasia is a condition wherein the lymphatics are dilated. The result is that lymph channels may become blocked and there is a "leakage" of fluid into the affected body area.
Signs and symptoms
Symptoms include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, fatty stools, and abdominal pain may be present. Other indicators may include edema, low protein levels (caused from the protein loss from the condition), and low albumin levels.
Histology
Malformation or dilation of lymphatic channels resulting in lymph blockages and accumulation of fluids in the affected body areas.
Aetiology
This condition can either be primary (hereditary), primary (congenital) or can be secondary as a result of cancers, cardiac conditions, chronic inflammations, tuberculosis, scleroderma, lupus, fibrosis, endometriosis as well as other factors.
Treatment
There is no cure for lymphangiectasia. Treatment is focused on control of complications, control through dietary habits and possible drug therapy for various symptoms. In the case of secondary lymphangiectasia treatment also focuses on the underlying cause.

He needs to see a specialist, a gastroenterologist. Who did the surgery? They should be called, a second opinion would be a good idea. What did they do for the small intestine expansion, did they say what that was about?

Try getting him to get a full endoscopy and colonoscopy. It's not fun, and it's not pretty, but it might help. I had been going to gastroentrologists (I'm sorry for butchering that word) for 6 months, and they finally figured it out with the endo/colonoscopy. I had acid reflux...lol. And exploratory surgery might be a last resort, if that doesn't work.
Good luck and best wishes to your dad!

We aren't going to be able to accuratly tell you what is wrong. If he is feeling pain again, he has to go to the doctor, that's very important. I hope everythign is fine but we really couldn't tell you. even if he calls the doctor and asks if the pain is normal.

i don't know what is wrong, but you should get a second opinion. if he is in tremedous pain, i would take him to the hospital, no matter how much he argues that he'll be fine. A false alarm is always better than ignored warning signals.
