Okay so at the moment i'm dating a latino guy in a gang he's 21, the rest of the gang don't know we are going out.You see 3 years ago, my family and i moved from Ireland to San Diego CA,USA.I'm 18 now.I'm 100% Irish and i have a thick irish accent...and i'm afraid this is the problem.I'm afraid that the rest of the gang will be angrey at the fact he is dating an irish girl and not a latina.It could cost me my life if they found.Do you think they would take it badly? or would it not matter to them?
I really need advice.

Ooooh, bad idea. They are nothing but trouble. Try to get out of this relationship in a way that won't have him come after you. The home girls are pretty bad too. He is probably looking out for you too because those girls are vicious and are not very receptive of other girls getting with him, especially is she's not their race.

Wow Jess, you've gotten some pretty judgmental and crappy answerer's here. Gang members are people too. Yea, I dated and ex-gang member but it counts. Great guy actually. Look, with ANY guy when they get whooped they can linger awhile. Hes not going to kill you or hurt you. Just keep telling him to leave you alone, if you are cold and distant and say the same thing long enough he will leave you alone. He just doesn't want to. My gang guy was not hard to dump...but then again we were casual and friendly so, no problemo.

Some of them might be ok with that but you'd have to find that out. Haven't heard too many shooting other members girlfriends. The one problem might be that if he becomes a target from another gang then you might get hit when he is as the shooters don't care who is in the way.
You might want to rethink the relationship and maybe move on. He might be a nice guy but association could cause problems that you don't need.

Maybe you ought to change your taste in men, date someone from some ethnic group that doesn't readily form gangs.
I grew up in an Hispanic neighborhood, too, and was a 'homeboy', I more or less stayed indoors to avoid most of that. If I hung out with gangsters I'd surely never live to see 30. I finally started hanging out in Vietnamese neighborhoods, and learned to study in school harder. That was something of an improvement.
I know you aren't listening, but, I still feel sorry for you. Hang out with Gang members, and you will die sooner than later.

Anyways, dating a gang member is a bad idea. A weta dating a gang member who is Latino that belongs to a racist Latino gang is a really bad idea.

I am not sure how they would take it...depends on the people in the gang. If you fear for your life, do you really think this is someone to be dating? I mean what if you guys broke up...and there were to be retaliation. I have dated gang members...never ran into anything like they not liking me and wanting to kill me personally....good luck

If you are dating a guy in a gang then that all goes with it. If you dont care about loosing your life or getting shot or you think all that is exciting, then why even ask the question.
