Bible prophecy being fulfilled right here on R&S... in the last days people would say wrong was right and right was wrong..... a cohabiting man and woman is nothing wrong.... God says nothing about sex before marriage..... he is honest, he got engaged to her (mind you, engaged not married) her within the year.......
Who are you guys all trying to fool?
Gal 6:7
Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a man is sowing, this he will also reap.
Be warned......

You should Never marry because you HAVE to. It won't work. God does not say you HAVE to get married if you have been cohabiting. That's a myth many young people believe.
You should only marry because it's what YOU want to do. Don't deceive yourself into thinking God wants you to marry someone just because you have had sex with them. The sex may have been wrong to do, but it would be very much worse if you put on yourself a command that God did not give.
Of all the reasons to get married, "I'm pregnant" or "I have had sex with that person" is wrong, wrong, wrong. Marriage is about love, not obligation.

The bible says nothing about sex before marriage, or a requirement to get married. There has been mention that the Bible considers you to be married if you do have sex with someone. I don't know where it comes from. Why do you need the bible to tell you whats right? Can't you tell for yourself?

I understand scripture to teach that "cohabiting" IS marriage. Scripture does not mention licenses, and the state, and preachers. It talks about commitment, and the two becoming one.

Read 1 Cor. 7: and you will find most of what is written to Christians about marriage.

I'm catholic- my daughter lived with my son-in-law for one year prior to marriage. Upon meeting us for the first time, he quietly told us that he promised us that he will be engaged within the year....he kept his word....he's an honest, decent human being and a great guy.......do what's in your heart otherwise you will not be able to live with yourself, or her for that matter, because misery or guilt, will overcome your desire.

Obviously they don't "have to" do anything they don't want, but they will incur the judgment of God as sure as the sun rises every day. "Do not be deceived, whatever a man sows that will he also reap."
