Coffee doesn't grow in Italy, but it's almost a religion for most of us!

And short of being in a caffé in Milano, the second best is the espresso I make on my Gaggia...Coffee beans roasted to "full-city roast" -but not dark- finely hand-ground. The blend: a quarter monsoon-dried Malabar, a quarter Sulawesi, a quarter premium Sumatra like the Mandheling if I can find some, and a quarter of Ethiopian Sidamo...

The worst coffee...hmmm...everything else...but still, a cup of awful coffee with friends is better than a cup of the best by myself...

If you are around our neck of the woods, come over for a demitazza
