people with any type of sickness taking tons of medication. it seems to kill them faster

It's the lesser of two evils.

If you're dying of cancer and the only available treatment is chemo, I'd say you should take it, even though chemo is pure poison and has serious side effects.

Drugs, in general, are prescribed to kill something unwanted, reconstitute something missing or ease pain. The FDA in the US trys hard to make sure the treatment value outweighs the side effects.

While not actually part of the oath, doctors live by "Primum non nocere" (First, do no harm)

Are drugs killing us faster than our afflictions? I would have to say definately not!

Yes I was on medication and it almost killed me!!
I am now reseraching and using althernative all natural healing.
