Christmas celebrates the birth of Christ, not Christ's birth DAY. We don't know when Jesus was born, and there is nothing magical about the day.
What is profoundly, unfathomably miraculous is that God chose to be born in abject poverty as a human baby. He did this to show us his full revelation, to share our human condition, and to teach us how to love.
Merry Christmas,
Bruce

Originally, long before Christ, this time of the year was the winetr solstice festival. A time of year when early man hoped the sun would return and he killed the stock he knew he couldn't feed over winter and ate it all. The Christian church hijacked the festival and pretended it was to celebrate jesus's birthday, of which they have no idea of the date. Poeple have always celebrated this time of the year so it's the church that are late comers to it.
Christmas means christ's birth - but it ain't necessarily so.

A mid-winter festival was celebrated for thousands of years before Christianity was invented. It has nothing really to do with Christ.

To trick christians into thinking that christmass wasn't stolen from pagan tradition, and actually means Mass of the anoited one. It is also against the bible to put up a christmass tree. Jeremiah 10:3-5
Got proof that isn't christian in nature that Jesus was ever born?
He for darn sure wasn't written in christian history to be born on Dec 25, that is Mithras birthday.

YOU WERE ALL WRONGS , he he , CHRIST = CROSS , Jesus Christ = Jews-*** Cross , MAS = MASS. And , please don't takes it's so hard , for my answer is this : " it's was a celebration made by a KING in the past , for to celebrating : a mass killing of the jews ( intellectuals ) people by crucified , and it's was accepted by the KING to it's peoples as a VICTORIOUS of GOOD ( himself ) against EVIL ( the dislike of him ) , that's should be celebrated.loll. And the same goes to the MUSLIM : Cannibalism Festival Of The Haj Celebrates ".

It is called Christmas because people are trying to cover over the fact that the holiday is wholly pagan.
Just like sugar-coating a cyanide pill and calling it candy.... it doesn't change a thing.
