its a long story but in short we've been flirting for quite a while and we're really good mates to. but we finally admitted our feelings to each other and i said that i didn't really want to tell her at the moment because I don't really know how i feel and i didn't want to hurt her (which i told her). But i ended up telling her anyway, i told her i definately have feelings for her but not like i used to, i like her one moment and then not at another.

she said fair enough and we decided we can still be good mates because we pretty much knew we like each other before anyway.

but now she seems she feels she has to get back at me, she's flirting deliberately with other people right in front of me and saying insults to me or about me to my other mates. But then at other times she will be really nice to me.

its especially hard because i still like her a lot of the time.
i still can't stop thinking about her

also what can i do to forget about her?

Wow, admitting your feelings must have been hard! I feel your pain. Well here's my solution:

In a way it does sound like she might be getting back at you, note, this is also a bias opinion by yourself. I bet you haven't yet stopped to think about what she might of thought about the situation other than she is wanting to make you jealous. However, you must put yourself in her shoes - I.E, what if she told you the same thing, and you really liked her? What would you do to try to convert her mind one way or another?

Don't forget chicks are a completely different personality wise, they are generally more emotional about things, and probably she was really hurt about what you said and now she wants to just move on to someone that can say they feel the same way about her!

You said you are starting to like her a lot more of the time? Well inform her of this, inform her of what you just said here, about what is worrying you. How can you two discuss your issues when your talking about it online?

Go up to her, tell her how you feel now, make her realise. That would at least get the problem off YOUR shoulders, and it would be a relief to get that far.

As to why she is acting this way... who knows? Maybe you could ask her that as well.

Best of luck mate.

hey as you said that she has feeling for you and you said whatever you felt like to her. I fell the way she flirts out with others in front of you is because she just wants to make you jealous and wants to find whether you have real feeling for her . Its normal every girl does the same. Just ignore if you are not interested in her , but if you really like her then why dont you guys carry on

You have two choices:

PLAN A: Ignore her and laugh when she's laughing. Joke around. Who cares if she's hanging on other guys - you only THINK she's doing it to hurt you.

Google "Negative Self-talk".

You don't like her, remember? THAT way, anyway. And so, why be jealous if she's hanging on guys? Would you be upset at your guy friends for hitting in girls in front of you? Treat her equally, bro.

PLAN B: Do everything you can to get with her, bang her a number of times, then drop her. She'll be so hurt and embarrassed in your social group for being "used" merchandise.

So, what do you think?

Chances are is that she was hurt and said she was fine so you would feel better about it and has decided to take her hurt out by being passive aggressive. As for forgetting about her, take some time to not see her and evaluate what you really want. And maybe in that time you will find someone else to help you forget about her.

Simple. Confront her and ask her why she does it. She's doing this to get your attention not to get back at you. If you want to forget about her? You need to spend less time around her. People seem to fade into the background if you see them less. She could feel hurt and this is why she is doing this to you, but she isn't doing this specifically to get back at you. She probably feels hurt and does not know how to handle being "rejected" even though you were just being honest with her.

You can forget about her by meeting someone else. Sorry, but that's the easiest way. She is obviously trying to make you jealous, which shows she lacks maturity and will use passive aggressive tactics to get what she wants. STAY AWAY, in others words.

You made the decision to only want to be friends when you told her what you did. She has a right to flirt if she wants, but the nasty comments are unnecessary and you should tell her that you don't appreciate them.

try to spend less time with her, spend more time with your other friends, or get involved in a new hobby, anything time consuming, to take her of your mind slowly but surely, then when you're ready, not on a rebound, you can try to make friends with other females, and you know the rest

Sounds like she cant make up her mind. She could have liked you more than you liked her but she didnt want to put herself out there. Now that she knows how you feel, she may want you to hurt like she is/was----even if it was unintentional......Tell her how you feel about her actions. If she cares, shell stop.If she doesnt, then she just doesnt respect you.
