One's that come from puppy mills and are very poorly cared for.
Chihuahuas are chihuahuas. The only true types of chihuahuas are short haired and long haired. There is no such thing as teacup or applehead. It's fine to describe a chihuahua as such as long as it's not being used by a backyard breeder or puppy miller to raise the price and screw the consumer.

There are two recognised varieties of Chihuahua - smoothcoats and longcoats. They're self-explanatory terms. Types like 'teacup' and 'micro' are ill-bred dogs from irresponsible breeders.
Edit: 'Applehead' is like the above terms - a new word that unscrupulous breeders would like naive buyers to think makes their dog more special (and thus worth more money). You won't find it used by the KC or AKC, and no responsible, reputable breeder would try and talk you into thinking that an 'Applehead' is a rare, new 'type' of Chihuahua.
The ideal or acceptable conformation of a dog is listed in their breed standard - an excellent example of a breed will display all the best features of that breed standard. Well-bred dogs from good bloodlines will most likely be the best examples. Unless the Chihuahua in question is thus and you're buying from a reputable, respected breeder, any terms ('Applehead', 'Teacup', 'Blue-Lined') the breeder uses to try and convince you into believing you have a great-looking dog are just tall-talk to extract more cash from your pockets.

There is only one type of Chihuahua, the breed standard only has one size unlike Poodles which come in a variety of sizes.
The only difference you see with Chihuahuas is the coat colour and whether they are short coated or long coated.
If you're referring to the abnormally small Chihuahua's they have well you're only looking for trouble if you get a runt, an abnormally small Chihuahua is likely to health problems associated with it and Back Yard Breeder who claim to Breed 'Tea Cup' Chihuahua's are unethical and uneducated and you do not want to buy from them.
