If you believe that there is a god who "controls" life and death, then you can attempt suicide all day long, but it's up to him as to when you will actually die.

Hey I totally get you I've tried to kill myself several times but unfortunately I'm a coward so I'm still here! I used a knife which wasn't very effective so I don't suggest that. I've recovered for the most part from my feats of depression but I still have swings of it. Now I can be happy though so that's good. I'd like to tell you that if you recovered everything would be sunshine and ponies in a sea of glitter but it's not. Recovery is hard. There was one thing I learned in recovery though. I can choose how I feel. Perspective is everything and If I choose to feel hopeful I can feel that way (this applies to you as well). Now I'm not religious in any way so don't think for a second that I'm going down that path- but basically what I'm trying to say is that if you want to recover you have to feel hopeful about something (whether it be your future, a goal, etc). You won't have to live a miserable life if you choose to change it. And I agree with the other guy who answered above suggesting that you travel. You need to see some cool ******* ****. Okay now to answer your questions: Yes, meds and vodka would probably work quite well. I REALLY REALLY don't want to encourage anything, but if you are using meds and you sincerely wish to die, overdose. Like major overdose. As for the afterlife, no one knows the answer to that question. It is left to the greatest of philosophers and ponderers alike. Should you buy a gun and shoot yourself? If you feel you have nothing else on Earth to do or see and you wish to be one with death then do so. A painless death? It is not possible. Think about it. When you die- any way you die- you are killing every cell in you body, every vessel in your heart, and every memory in your brain. You no longer exist.

God made life easy. Human rebellion made life hard. You are free to do as you please...and suffer the consequences. All actions have reactions. If you choose to jump off a cliff, it is not Gods' fault that you go splat. You choose your own consequences by choosing your actions. Hell was created for The Devil, and his angels. When humans choose to follow Satan, in a life of sin, they side with The Devil, and so earn his reward along with him. When you bomb synagogues for Osama, you get put on a terrorist watchlist. When you deal drugs for the Mafia, you get imprisoned for racketeering. This life is easy compared to what the next one will be. Learn to live in this life, in order to be able to live in the next with few problems. Suicide in this life only makes everything worse in the next life. Get some counseling, and medication. Wellbutrin may help, and has few side effects.

Everyone used to say if you suicide you go to hell.
Then knowledge of mental illness became more mainstream and understood. Now many people say "well normally you'd go to hell but if you have psychiatric problems and you're not really in control of yourself well hmm.... maybe you won't go to hell. I don't know. God knows". So suddenly because of knowledge, not all people can say all suicides definately go to hell.
What people tell you today already differs from what they said 50 years ago. Today's thinking will likely be different to what they tell you 500 years from now. God is eternal. Only God understands. God knows people's pain and is wiser than all of us.

I know that if I commit suicide, I won't GO to 'hell'.
But I will have to start all over again, e.g. come back to the 'hell' I was in, and the 'fire' I am in will be hotter than ever.
Life is hard becasue only that way you learn best. You go through the task allotted - you move further. You drop out - you stay for another round.

Mankind does mankind in. You're blaming God wrongfully. Do you even actually know what hell is? Do you know who goes there? If I committed suicide tomorrow, who are you or anyone else to judge me at Armageddon? For when we die, we go back to our ground and our thoughts do perish. (Ecclesiastes 9:5) So much for your "hell-fire" theory, eh? Also, there is a small flock with the "Seal of Heaven or The Appointed Class" on their foreheads. Not everyone who thinks he/she is going to heaven will go to heaven. When we die, our thoughts perish, our spirit goes out, back to its maker (Jehovah God) where it will await with Him until after Armageddon. At that appointed time, there will be an orderly course of resurrection of both good and bad humans, but when you die you do not pop off "up to heaven or hell". Here is where so many are misinformed and need to pray for guidance and accurate knowledge.
Here is some information for you to ponder on and never forget it. In the interim, you need to pray for accurate knowledge and help from God to help you to "cope" better until "the end of this wicked system of things":
James 1: 12 - 15
Happy is the man that keeps on enduring trial, because on becoming approved he will receive the crown of life, which Jehovah promised to those who continue loving him. When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.
2 Peter 3: 8 - 10
"However, let this one fact not be escaping YOUR notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. Yet Jehovah’s day will come as a thief..."
Even you can attain accurate knowledge if your heart is in the right place. Just ask wholeheartedly for it, and if your heart is not wicked, Jehovah God does answer prayers.

a gun vendor can give you a gun, its your choice if you are going to use it to catch food to feed hungry people or shoot the hungry people.
God can give you life, you can live it by helping others and think less about your own sweet self.
or you can be a greedy thinking life is not worth living while a billion people in the world would steal just to eat as much as he did for dinner.
why don't you stop staring at yourself in the mirror and go live your life with the intent of helping someone else.. you will find that you will have alot less stress.
if you are getting stressed by living life for yourself, why don't you think about this.
maybe you were never meant to worry about yourself but rather worry for others?
go and sell everything you have and give it to the poor.

Hi there!
Yes, life is difficult. I was divorced by my ex wife, live with my two kids, and now I could not pay my kids school fee for 6 months.
Day come to day, I do not know what to eat. But still up to now, I live, and so my kids.
I do not lie. But I give my life at His hands. I do what I could do and say a prayer to Him.
Our Father loves us. True. You would see Him, if you let Him live with you. No kidding. He a living God. Others may laugh at my testimony, but you should follow him.
There is no need to commit suicide. You would pass your problem even though it is not easy. Be patient. Be faithful and be diligent.
God loves you. Merry x'mas!

God didn't make life hard. It is what you make of Life. You make life good or you can make life bad. It is up to you. I hope you don't try anything like that. Just go to God and Pray, he will listen to you. He Loves us, he don't walk away from us, we walk away from him. Good Luck and God Bless

Yeah, whats the confusion?
You have a choice (free will).
1 Corinthians 2:11 (New International Version)
11For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
1 Corinthians 2:14 (New International Version)
14The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1 Corinthians 4:21 (New International Version)
21What do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a whip, or in love and with a gentle spirit?
John 8 - The Children of the Devil
42Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. 43Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me? 47He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."
