We need to use what Gods thoughts on the matter are, to give an answer that will truly help the listeners.
"Man judges on the outward appearance of things, while God judges the heart."
1 Corinthians 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
1 Corinthians 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
1 Corinthians 6:4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
1 Corinthians 6:5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
1 Corinthians 6:6 But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.
1 Corinthians 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.
1 Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
Christians are told to judge using "righteous judgement", that is to say, we are to make evaluations based on what God has said to be true, and NOT on what the world tells us is acceptable.
John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
If you are speaking of a person "being judgemental" towards you and your feelings have been hurt as a christian, then you need to accept their criticism with grace , thank them for their concern and check with the Lord to see if there might be some truth in their words. Then move on.
If you are talking of feeling judged by a christian informing you of your need for Christ so that you don't go to hell, then you are without excuse. God has given we christians the ministry of reconciliation, which means to share with a dying world the wonderful news of forgiveness of sins and the GIFT of righteousness; without which, NO MAN will see heaven. A christian isn't being "judgemental" when simply following Gods instructions to share the good news with all men. He is merely one beggar telling another where to find bread.
I hope this helps. For more information about Gods plan and purposes for today, please go to www.graceteacher.com

All people are judgemental. it fairly is human nature. yet some are extra judgemental than others. I do agree that Christians have the worst recognition for being judgemental, whether it fairly is their very own fault. They choose people earlier they even comprehend them. i think of a few of them forget relating to the "choose no longer lest ye be judged" element of the Bible. yet, by ability of the comparable token, no longer all Christians are heavily judgemental. some will settle for people for who they're and not act like a junior-excessive clique like maximum of church homes do. in case you do no longer prefer to be friendly to church goers, then do no longer. yet some are certainly super people.

There are different definitions for 'being judgmental'.
One is to make any judgment/evaluation about the goodness or badness of others.
Of course, that is a ridiculous notion. One can not live functionally if one does not make evaluations about the goodness or badness of others. To ignore badness is to increase risk of being harmed by bad people.
Another definition implies making very negative judgements about others (making positive judgments doesn't count in this definition).
Again, to not make accurate assessments (i.e. 'judgments') about very bad people that you encounter greatly increases your chances of being harmed by very bad people, which would be ridiculous...just as before.
The bottom line is: judge people; but do so cautiously and accurately. (and be careful about who you share your judgmental opinions with; some folks get cranky when you think rationally).

I assume you are asking what being judgmental is...for me it is applying any value, good or bad, to something that enters my experience--a person, a thing, a situation. It is not accepting What Is without attaching my own criteria to it. For instance, looking at someone or something and giving a value to them: they are old, damaged, too greedy or they are good athletes, happy families, beautiful clothes. Giving an opinion as to something's "value" is what "value judgment" means. A judgment would vary from person to person, based on their criteria. So how does this serve us, or anyone else...there can never be agreement as to the "value" of anything. To be non-judgmental is to accept everything at "face value," without expectations. Life brings "positive" and "negative" people, things, and situations to us, shifting and changing all of the time, nothing is permanent. Knowing this, and that we can't make this flow of life fit us (an impossibility), we must "accept" all experiences without judgment, and "go with the flow." When you begin to observe yourself and everything around you without clinging or attaching to your own agenda, you will begin to see that it is your conditioned ego personality that has expectations, based on everything that you have been taught. This is not easy to do, but we have no choice; otherwise, we will be trapped in unhappiness and dissatisfaction for our entire lives, that is until we know "who" it is that is being judgmental...the self-involved false ego that is not real. To overcome this unconsciousness and false perspective requires "waking up" to our true selves, our true nature. Self-observation is essential, and meditation is the best method for changing the "mind." One must enter the silence and at first watch and then ultimately let go of the "chatter" of chaotic thoughts that are produced by the ego mind. In this way one discovers a greater Reality, an authentic self, and no longer attaches to judgments, positive or negative. Life is what it is, and accepting that allows the living of it to become more happy and balanced. I am Sirius

Being judgmental, or passing judgment on someone, is more than just criticizing someone else's actions. Being judgmental is when you draw an inescapable, usually negative, conclusion from such actions. For example, the following is passing judgment:
"If you don't keep God's Seventh-day (Saturday) Sabbath holy, then you're going to burn in the Lake of Fire."
On the other hand, the following is *NOT* passing judgment -- but merely identifying "wrong" behavior:
"If you continue to desecrate God's Seventh-day (Saturday) Sabbath, then you're endangering your salvation."
Note: No, no one is saved by their works. But he whom willfully continues in sin will not be saved.
God bless.

Here is a post concerning this :
KNOW WHO YOU ARE !!!
In this world of gross darkness we shine as bright lights in the midst of perversions , hostility , ignorance , cults , and false Christianity. I want to encourage you, dear saints, to hold on to what God has gave you , keeping the faith , exercising the gifts the Holy Spirit has freely gave. We are NOT weaklings ! We are STRONG in the Lord, and in the POWER of His might !!! We are BOLD soldiers , anointed with Light, and Power, and AUTHORITY !!!
Hebrews 7 : 26 For such an high priest became US , who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and MADE HIGHER than the heavens.
I st Corinthians 6 : 1 - 3 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, to go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints ? Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world ??????? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters ? Know ye not that we shall judge angels ?????? How much more things that pertain to this life ?!
I Peter 2 : 5, 9 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous Light.
John 7 : 24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
I Corinthians 2 : 15, 16 But he that is spiritual judge all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him ? But we have the mind of Christ.
Isaiah 54 : 17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness of of Me , saith the Lord .
One of the first things out of a heretic, agnostic, or atheists mouth is " you are judging ". Well , we have that authority. BUT ! Make sure the judgment is according to the WORD ! Because of what judgment you put out, you will also be judged with. All things we do, must be done in the Love of Jesus.
WE are KINGS and PRIESTS,, NOW !!! KNOW WHO YOU ARE .........
St.Luke 11 :52 Woe unto you, lawyers ! For ye have taken away the KEY of knowledge: Ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered..
Revelations 1 : 18 I am He that liveth, and was dead; and , behold, I Am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
St. Matthew 16 : 19 And I will give unto thee the KEYS of the kingdom of heaven : and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth SHALL be bound in heaven : and whatsoever thou shalt LOOSE on earth SHALL be loosed in heaven.
That's my thoughts...

judging really isn't wrong. You judge people all the time and don't even realize it. The first poster just judged atheists and muslims by saying they judge. Just don't prejudge others.
