A few weeks ago, my doctor's new female assistant, a very attractive blonde, was getting ready to check the sensation in my feet. She removed my shoe and sock from my right foot, then gently slid her long, sharp fingernail along my bare sole from my heel to the ball of my foot. That girl tickled my bare foot! I started giggling and I felt my foot twitch when she tickled it, and she seemed somewhat amused by my reaction. Has anyone else ever been foot-tickled at the doctor's office?

Yes I have... every time I go to my neurologist they 'tickle' my foot. But they've never done it with their fingernails... it's always with this stick thingy. It's funny, huh... i laugh... and the doctor never says anything. AWKWARD.

I've never had my feet examined, but I have been tickled in other ways by doctors. I've always been fiercely ticklish, so it was bound to happen.
My most memorable experience happened when I was a kid. I was lying on my stomach, and the doctor was palpating along the entire length of my spine -- I can't remember why, it's been so long. But I do remember every muscle in my body tensing up and being absolutely desperate not to laugh. When he finally reached my upper hip area, he growled ominously, "Hehe...ticklish?" I remember being more horrified than I'd ever been in my young life -- my biggest weakness had just been discovered, and I was sure he'd call a bunch of nurses in to hold me down while he tickled me to death.
But the moment passed and nothing came of it. That was a few years before I learned to seriously enjoy being tickled. If something like this happened today, I'd be thrilled! So I say, make up some fake foot ailments and get back to that doctor as soon as you can!

Uhhh...it was a FEMALE doctor for her, folks. And yes, some docs must be into that. Last time I was to any doctor was in High School, like 1981, but back when I was 8-12 I went to this guy doctor who liked to take off my undies and poke and tickle around my balls and lower belly until my little Mr. Happy got hard. He also would do the reflex thing where they run the tool up the soles of your feet for like 10 minutes. I know darn well the doctor dude was having fun with it, because my parents weren't there and I would be screaming with laughter. He used to get 2 nurses to hold me down, too. It was a trip! My cousin used to ask me why my eyes were all red when I came out. It was from going nuts laughing!

I've had episodes like that. A red headed, cute nurse ran the blunt side of the reflex mallet up the sole of my foot once, and giggled when I reacted. Something similar happened at a neurologist's office, except I wasn't ticklish that time around, although the female doctor laughed when she did it to me.
I started to believe I wasn't ticklish on the feet anymore...until I went to a pediatrist about an ingrown toenail. She barely touched the ball of my left foot, and I nearly jumped out of my skin. Then they applied some numbing cold stuff for the procedure, and it hit the bottom of my foot and tickled like crazy. I was quite happy to realize that I was still ticklish.
Anyway, every doctor whose tickled my feet had a legitimate reason to do it

I actually have not been examined by a doctor since I was a child. I can recall a couple of ticklish sensations arising during the course of examinations, but my doctor was a rather scary character with a long, red beard, and I was far too frightened of him to be able to enjoy the situations when they occurred; even feeling tickled did not reassure me.
It does sound as if you have quite an enjoyable experience in store for yourself though in your situation. I would second the suggestion to invent some foot ailment and get thee an appointment at once. I haven't actually heard of your sort of situation with feet - knees, occasionally. Lucky you!

I have been tickled by my doctor a lot! My doctor is a guy though. He takes my shoes off and then socks and then runs his finger or pen up my feet, sometimes he really uses all his fingers and really tickles me more than just on stroke. It is all lighthearted

Had my feet forensically examined once at the police station after bare footprints were found at a crime scene I couldn't stop laughing and found it a very ticklish procedure however I was cleared of the crime
