It's a superstition. You don't have to take it off IMMEDIATLY after you leave, but, the superstition states that it's best not to dawdle around in them and to get them off as soon as possible and throw them in the wash.
Not too sure where this originates from, my family [being hispanic] follows this, a google search would probably yield better results.

Yes and No. The idea probably came from a lack of understanding of hygiene and the observation in the past that people often became ill after visiting a cemetery. No doubt in plague days people who visited cemeteries were exposed to the plague pathogens and often scummed to the disease. Because people had no knowledge of why the belief that evil spirits infested your clothing when visiting a cemetery. Because germs can follow you home on your clothing and cause disease the superstition is partially true. Of course now days it is much less likely

it gets worse. easily everybody is a suspect. you pay interest to what could make all of it a lot much less complicated for us undesirable "terrified" voters? in the event that they could purely do away with . . . the bill of Rights. That pesky bill of Rights is allowing the terrorists. in fact some human beings can see the placement it is headed, yet no person is listening to them. we are able to be decrease than a a hundred% surveillance/administration grid. No privateness, no rights, no determination.
