Argus was a popular brand back in the 50's and 60's when consumer cameras first became popular.

Currently, it's a brand name splashed onto generic cameras. They're economy cameras that are only good if you don't expect much. Not well constructed and with little manufacturer's support.

Look at the low consumer ratings on these two sites.

I'd recommend sticking with the better know brands like Canon, Casio, Fuji, HP, Kodak, Nikon, Pentax, Samsung, or Sony.

Not really. Stay with Sony or Olympus or Nikon or Kodak or Canon or Fuji.

As Ben Franklin allegedly said "The sweetness of quality is remembered long after the bitterness of price is forgotten."

i never heard of that but as i said in your other question sony or cannon! but whater ever you do make sure u get a camera that has he marco setting. when using marco the pictures you take come out wonderful. most cameras today have that setting it. and on the camera on the back it should have a little flower on it and thats when you know you have tht setting!
