Although it seems contrary to logic, our son was cured of his bedwetting by giving him more water.

Children usually wet the bed because (a) they have a small bladder, (b) they're dehydrated and the urine is concentrated, or (c) they're deep sleepers.

Giving them as much water as they'll drink solves all three. Took about 2 weeks before he had consistent dry nights, and a couple of months to be completely dry for good.

if you haven't talked to his pediatrician about this issue, do so. it's not a crime be a bed wetter, lots of kids do this... however, having a doctor make sure he's normal and doesn't have some sort of problem is a good, first step.

you can always get those disposable pads which are made to protect beds. they are likely available at any drug store.

Put a plastic lined mattress pad on his bed until his body works out how to stay dry all night while he's sleeping.

my sister has that problem and shes 12 , the doctor said that sometimes she goes into a really deep sleep, and cant help it. But we wake her up at midnight to pee, that seems to work.
