I have several film cameras in good working condtion. A few are point-and-shoot, including one Nikon that takes panoramic photos. I also have a nice film SLR canon camera. The problem is, I don't use film anymore. Who would want these cameras? Would any charities be able to use them?

Definitely give them to a school that has a photography department. You could make some money selling them on ebay. Many of the lenses can still be used on a digital SLR of the same brand.

Sometimes a small camera store, not a chain. Most will have some old stock that they would love to unload. and a better place is a pawn shop. I have never been in a pawn shop that didn't have some, if not a lot of film camera equipment.

I'm sure charities could resell them, although if I were you, I'd sell on eBay (under Cameras> Film Cameras, Lenses), or at least look on eBay and list your model numbers to see how much they're currently selling for. Then decide whether to give away, or sell.

You might post an ad on your local Craigslist. Many students taking photography classes are required to use film cameras.
