This is where I got mine. I ordered the invitation stock (I got 50), the program stock (came in lot of 100) and the thank you card/RSVP card/place card stock (came in lot of 100, and I used the same stock for all three, just changed the inside and/or outside as necessary). I got mine for under $100. It all depends on how many you need. This place will send you (for a nominal fee) samples of cards you like to make sure your printer will work with the paper.
Good luck, and congrats on your upcoming nuptials.

sure you can! But if you are inviting over 100 people, this can get very timely.
Hit up the closest scrapbook store for supplies, but before you go, check out some websites for inspiration

www.plushinvitations.com

theres a few of my faves!
If you have any friends who know photoshop or have experience in graphic design, this can be SUPER helpful as well in finding a unique and creative look for your invites.
Remember to stick to one theme with every step. The invite should be a small sample of the feel of the wedding, so brown and pink invites, you should have the same colour dresses and centerpeices.
Good luck, and congrats!

Of course!
50 invitations were no more than $50, that included the invites, the RSVP card and envelope, ribbon and some other little decorations.

You can go to any hobby and craft store and select different papers and embellishments and just have fun and be original. If you feel like that would be too much to take on then you can buy kits that come with everything you need to create invites. They have them at Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Jo-Ann Fabrics.....good luck!

why not? If you need some ideas look @ wedding invite sites and get some. There are plenty of places where you can get plain card stock that is compatible with home printers...
