i had to answer the door so i quickly went to put down the camera and it skimmed the table and fell so anyways the camera is stuck out and the lens is stuck closed pleaseeee help i am so scared i dont want my parents to be dissapointed by me irresponisbility.

first, dont feel sooo worried, if it is broken he may still be under warrantee.

second, the zoom part (the part sticking out) may be locked and just needs a jiggle. LIGHTLY play with it and see if it moves.

(i am assuming you did, but try turning the camera off cuz cameras reset to close when power is hit off)

OK there is nothing that you can do about it i am like just keep in mind that you dint brake it. It was and accident no one is perfect. just sit with Ur parents and tell them what happen. And just say i was scared to tell you guys and just i am really sorry and they will understand. Its all ways better to talk it over better then to keep on hiding the camera

I side with Alex. It wasn't intentional. Ok, so maybe
you were a little careless, but it was still just an
accident.

Your Dad is surely going to find out about it when he
tries to use it again. You have to head him off at the
pass. Be honest and apologetic -- but go to him with
it.

Tell him he shouldn't have left his camera vulnerable on the table where it could fall off.

Take responsibility and tell your dad what happened. Then buy him a new camera.

how old is the camera, if it's not too old, can use the warrente thing
