? A simple program to automatically save wallpaper images I have set as images on my desktop.?

Question

When one sets a new photo one likes as desktop wallpaper the old image is gone forever. I wish to save just the images I like easily. So that at a later date I may reuse the wallpaper.

I do not want to save my whole desktop, or lock it as most programs do. I also do not want a slide show. I just want to keep the images I enjoy to reuse later.

I am looking for an inexpensive or shareware program that will ask me if I would like to save a current temporary desktop wallpaper image permanently If I say yes then do so.

Currently these images are automatically stored as hidden files in the following location .

C:\Documents and Settings\{user}\Application Data\Microsoft \Internet Explorer\Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp

I know if I save them to my pictures first. I can then put them up as wallpaper, but I do not wish to do it that way. I want to see them as wallpaper,enjoy them, and then when another image catches my fancy set it as wallpaper without losing the image I had permanentl

you already know the answer to this.
why would the old image be gone forever? you already know to right click on the image and save it to my pictures. you can also right click on it again and set as background.

Open the image, right click on it and select the option to Set as Desktop Background (assuming you are using Windows and Fax Image viewer to view the picture.)
