They both live a couple of hours drive from me and put pressure on us to come on Xmas Day.

Its a common problem. I suggest you take turns every other year. Then of course they could both come to you??
Good luck

Stop letting them pressure you. You cannot be everywhere and you need to do what you want on Christmas. Either rotate or tell them that you are staying home and that they can come over on Christmas. When they are the ones that are expected to spend their holiday traveling that will be another story.

You feel pressured because you allow yourself to feel pressured.

When my kids were growing up, i did what i wanted to do on christmas, and most of the time, that meant staying home with them... they liked it better at home, anyway. And so did I.

Now that my kids are grown, they stay home and i go see them if/when i can on holidays.

Do what is important to YOU and what you'd like to do with your family -- letting people pressure you is nuts.
