Hey, I am volunteering over the summer in Costa Rica. Obviously the program and airfare cost money (around 1,000$ for 3-4 weeks). I was thinking that I could go around my neighborhood and ask for people to sponser me, and say something like 15% of all donations will be used to buy school supplies for the children. is this moral? and accepted? if anyone has any ideas please share.

Will 15% of all donations will be used to buy school supplies for the children? It's immoral to say so unless it is TRUE.
