i can download the demos but i cant install the it say something like ERROR 8002AE1

If you just got the ps3 and don't have important data saved, you could try doing a system restore. If there's a non-hardware problem with the format that should clear it up.
First, though, you should call Sony's customer service. They've got a tech support section that can determine if there's a software problem, or whether it's something they need to repair (such as a defect in the hard drive)
post the issue on us.playstation.com forums as well.

try to pause the demos when you turn off you're ps3 and then continue downloading the demo when you turn on you're ps3
