BOTH people share the responsibility of keeping a relationship a LOVING one. You just know. If you have to ask or have any doubts then you're not. It's an amazing feeling being happy and completely comfortable around a person and thinking about a future with them. As for knowing if they feel the same think about how they act around you and look at you...that should tell.

People sometimes say "you just know!". If you feel happy around and comfortable around the person, or if you want to be with the person all the time. You think about him, and start to smile a little or feel like it's really hot when ever you look at him or talk to him.
People around you who know you and the person might talk about that person liking you, so that's how you might find out if the person likes you. Otherwise directly ask him! I did that once, it felt pretty wierd because everyone said he did but when I asked him he said no, but otherwise ask one of his close friends or someone he trusts.

My grandparents had love at first sight.

They stayed married untill death and after my grandfather died my grandmother kissed his photo every night and never remarried. She said she just knew and he said he thought the world of her and even though they both gave up alot to be together I dont think they could have survived without one another they had become so beautifully entwined. When I think of true love I think about them. I only hope I can find someone to love me as deeply as they loved one another.

I am currently in love with someone that I could fall deeper for everyday but I think that people are afraid to be in love nowdays, and I think he is afraid to love me but there might be a chance and I am willing to wait a bit longer to let him think. I plan to stay positive.

i know he loves me back. sure we fight sometimes, and he might become angry with me. but he won't stay angry with me for more than a minute. angry words might be exchanged, but they're always followed with hugs and kisses. and there are other things, like how much he contributes by working hard for us to live in the nice apt. we live in, and how he listens to me vent about things, and how we can look at eachother still in sheer awe, just like the day we met...
