I am 15 years old and a couple of years ago I was so scared of death. Then, my favorite uncle died a year and a half ago. You would think that that experience, with all the crying and all the pain I felt, would make me more afraid of death, but it did just the opposite. Now I know he doesn't feel anymore pain and everything is quiet and gentle. It is worth living your life while you have it because truth is, one day you won't. Yes, it seems like a scary thought, but it's much less scary then it seems to be. My belief is that I will go to heaven when I die, which will be a beautiful place with no sorrow and just happiness. Doesn't that sound wonderful to you? My take on death is that it is just the beginning to another life.

Of course I am scared to die because I want to be there for my young children. But before I had them, when my best friend died, I went through the same feelings of "what's the point to this life when you just die anyway?"

I did eventually decide that I may as well make the most of it while I am here. I try to find time to do things that I enjoy and also to try new things. You know, keep life interesting, fun, and meaningful to me.

If you are not going to school for something you really, whole-heartedly want to do....then you should think of finding something else...find out what you are passionate about.

What I think happens when we die.....we return to the earth. Our lights go out. That's it, show's over. I don't believe in an afterlife.

That's my opinion.

I hate death. Every time someone in my family or one of my pets die, a piece of my heart goes with them. I'm not that scared of dying anymore because if my loved ones have gone through that process then why should I be scared?
I don't know if there's a something after we die, but I certainly hope so. I just don't think we are in this world just to continue the evolution process, there's gotta be something better, there's gotta be a continuation, in a different dimension maybe where our energy gathers with others and becomes one universal power.

I think school is important because you are most likely to live a long life before you die. This means you will need an education to get a good job and support yourself. Who wants to walk through life uneducated anyway?
I'm only afraid of leaving others behind but am actually not afraid of death. I am a big believer in life after death and from all the research I've done, it seems nothing but pleasant and peaceful to those who have passed on! I think death is just a part of life. I believe our soul leaves our body and moves on to "a higher level" without grief, sadness or pain.

I think the idea of death is something evey person struggles with. I am a Christian, and I believe that when I die, I will go to heaven as long as I continue living for Christ. I've struggled with the very same question you are: Is all the school worth it? I believe it is, so that I can live the best life possible after school is done.

Youre thinking about death while you're alive.

I'm not afraid of dying. I't a transition. I think we are like cats^^ We reincarnate. Death soudn't be something scaring. It's the way the life goes...Scientists are going to find a way to make us eternal but i know that the life is not something that supposed to be eternal...we have to pass away...it's like with and black...water and fire...theres alway an opposate of all...

But sometimes when you really do it...try it youll see..imagine the space and think that theres is no other thing than that's...space is all....after that theres noting...

when you are able to do that...you find your life...miserable. You find that, you are doing all that, youre suffering and all for nothing.....what's your life in that? Noting..

so no....not afraid to die...but alway's the same question coming back ...what am I supposed to do here ? why am I here ?? Existential question ^^

I'll stop here cause i think I will never stop ^^

Sorry for my horrible english I'm francophone

Kisses :)

I really don't think much about death. I learned to accept it and not afraid. We are all headed in one direction sooner or later.
It's worth living and learn as much as you can because I believe what you know will stay with you into heaven if your planning on going to heaven.
I really don't know what really happens when some goes. Maybe there's some kind of level, like your classified. as you go in. They say St. Peter guards the gates of heaven. So I'll go through an interview an explain why I was too picky.

it is absolutely worth going to school!! You only live once! live to the fullest
i believe that when you die (if you are a follower of Christ and live for him and are born again) that you will go to Heaven to be with the Lord

People who are happy and productive in their lives are less afraid of dying. If you do not finish school and get really old, you may have regrets. Regret is one of the reasons people are afraid of dying. Like, Wait! Wait! I am not ready.

Live each day as if it were your last. Cherish those you love
dont put off the projects you have planned to do. because you are too lazy, or too busy
with things like Yahoo Answers.

Also pay your bills and such, because today is probably NOT your last day and you want a home and savings for when you get older.
