Oh geez, the Christians here tell me all the time that I am going to hell. That has not changed the way I live. I am still a good person. :)

I'm sure some people of other religions DO think I will go to hell when I die because I don't practice in a way that will allow me to gain entrance into whatever their version of heaven is.

Does that keep me from being a good and moral person?
NO! I rely on my own values to decide what I need to do in this life. My salvation is between me and God. How other people judge me is of no consequence.

People do tell me I'm going to hell (because I'm not Christian) and I do strive to live a good and moral life regardless. I don't believe in hell, but I also don't believe in an afterlife based on my actions in this life. I try to be good because I want to be a good person. I'm not expecting a cookie for my behavior.

Yes. Most people tell me anyway that I will go to hell, just because of my beliefs. There is more to doing good than a fear of going to hell, or a hope of going to heaven.

As an atheist I am told repeatedly that unless I accept a fictional character saving me from some intangible thing, I am going to hell. It is of course, utter nonsense.

i would still do good. i would try to be a better person than i was, since i have been told i was going to hell. i would donate more money, treat plants and animals with respect, cherish my life, love and respect humans, be true, be real. volunteer to charities too. i would do a lot of stuff. i would pray a lot. also admitt my mistakes.
