this guy i like is so secretive. he refuses to tell me some stupid things like his parents' names.

Being a guy myself I know what this is like. Its part of some guys nature to be secretive. He may have some things he feels may not interest you, or may be embarassing to him.

Run that is one of the very biggest signs of trouble. If he does not want you to know personal things about him, then he is hiding something. Get out before you end up in trouble, possibly serious trouble!!!

When a man is secretive and hiding something, typically that something is another woman. He doesn't want you to meet his parents because they have met her.

He may be suspicious of you thinking yu want too much info, is he shy? or he may have some good reasons to be cautious, needs to get to know you better to trust you with basic info? who knows. Take your time. The truth will come out or he'll move on which may be better for you anyhow.

maybe he doesnt want you to know stuff about him or get close to him. talk to him. maybe he just isnt comfortable enough with you or doesnt like you very much?
