If I were you I wouldn't care about other people's opinions. Love knows no age.

I feel, like it doesn't matter. Age doesn't matter. It's just a number, you can love whoever you want, whenever you want, as long as your love is sincere. Go for what you think is right. If you really are in love or attracted to her, then who's stopping you? There are a lot of attractive 40 year old women, so I'm not that surprised. But before you do anything else, be sure of what you want. Don't just sleep with someone, be sure that you love that someone. Be sure this is what you really want, ok? GO FOR IT!

When I was 46, I had a boyfriend who was only 21. I'm now married to a man who is 7 years younger than I am (I'm 57, he's 50) ... I know a woman who got married to a man who was 13 years younger than she was and they have now been married for nearly 40 years. AGE DOESN'T MATTER if you truly love someone ... even if she's 80 and you are 20. I truly believe that ... in BOTH DIRECTIONS.

Wow! My boyfriend is 5 years younger than I am and there are issues sometimes with his maturity level, etc. 20 years is a lot! What do you guys have in common? Is it just for sex or are you looking for a relationship? I'd say to be careful because i can't see what she'd want with a 20 year old except something physical - regardless of how smart and mature you are - 20 and 40 year olds are at very different points in their lives!

Looking at my point of view, being 1 or two years older is fine.
But couple of years apart might give some problems later on.
Example: Men get matured later. Wheres women are faster on maturity..
For the start on a relationship, every things sweet...
But later on things get sour and words may fly which would hurt the guy way too much.

Age is just a number as they say, but what really matters is what you and her think about it, if she doesn't have a problem with it and neither do you then by all means enjoy. It has alot to do with maturity, she probably loves the youthfulness you bestow upon her and you probably love the maturity of her. It can work it takes two to make it happen.

I have no problem with it. I'm on the other end of the spectrum. I'm also dating a 40 year old woman but she's 20 years younger than me.

While a small age difference should not really matter, 20 years approaches a point of unusualness.

Age is just a number. As long as you are both mature in thinking and know what you want and you can communicate...then go for it. I am 23 years older then my husband. We have been married now for 7 years and things couldn't be better :)

A younger man and an older women is cool...you're the first that i've heard of, but an old man and a young woman is just a bit gross, especially when they are usually fat rich assess...

That's too old. Try about 25-30. The 40-50 yr. old age group have been through more and want someone older. However, people have different preferences when it comes to dating.
