hi i wanna watch a video on my windows media player but it says i need a license and the link to the website for a license is broken is there a way around this?? (windows 2000 =P )

"but it says i need a license" - it's probably saying a lot more than that. Like maybe, your version of Windows is illegal, for example. That's way most people have the problem you are describing.

And what the heck does this mean??? (windows 2000 =P ) Windows 2000 Pro maybe? WGA blocks W2K, too.

If you know for sure that you are not using an illegal version of Windows, call Microsoft, they will help.

If you are having a authorised versionof windows, you can download the windows Media Player from the Microsoft wevsite. Otherwise there are free sites which allows you to download windos media player. Try download.com

have you got dvd region free?this lets u play dvd's from all over the world. media player is lisenced to microsoft even though good old Bill borrowed mp 11 from apple.Unless your unregistered windows i can't see a problem.
