the first answer is not at all correct. J'aime is saying i like. J'adore is i like ALOT. But, it does not mean i like you. i would definitely go with the second answer. its the first accurate one.
i like you is: Je vous aime. [ je like jacket for the j ]
i love you is: Je vous aime. [ same as above ]
I promise is: Je promets. [ je means " i " so any i's will always be je.
He is hot : Il a chaud. [ haha chaud is how i talk about weather but i guess you could use it for that :p ]
Merry Christmas.. and good luck :DDD
here is something that will help you when figuring the above out:
je = i
[ i am forgetting this one right now.. sorry! ]
il/elle = him/her
--------------------->> Nous = we
---------------------->> Vous = you
--------------------->> ils/elles = they
elles is all girls, if only one guy joins the group it is automatically ils.

Je t'aime
I dont know 'i promise'
Il est tres chaud
the last one is a literal translation, I'm not fluent im just taking it in high school, so I hope this is right, i would go with a fluent speaker though, just wanted to give an idea of what they might be =)

"Je te kiffe" (zhuh tuh keef) is slang for "I like you", comes from Arabic.
"Je t'aime" (zhuh tehm) says it all... you're in love.
"Je le promets" (zhuh luh proh-meh) means "I promise it".
"C'est un promis" (Seht uhN proh-mee) means "It's a promise".
"Il est trop sexy" (eel ay troh sehk-see) is "he is hot".
Go get 'm, tiger.
