It is interesting to see that most people react with another question instead of trying to come up with an answer.
One guy even asks :
"Why do you have that much meth?"
"How stupid do you have to be to announce that you have meth to millions of users?"
I mean .. read the question first! The asked never said he/she HAD 20 pounds of meth did he? Just asked a 'what if' question!!
If I ask about the bail for having one trillion kilograms of heroin and 27 nukes in possesion, it doesnt mean I 'announce I have' this.
To answer the question: I would assume there is no bail possible for such an amount of class 1 drug posession.

A bond hearing is done by a judge. He takes into account the background of the accused, possible flight risk, possible penalties if found guilty, the severity of the crime, and determines a dollar amount. I'd say it would be a lot for 20 lbs.! $10 million maybe? The dude would obviously have access to money and would be facing a long jail term. Even thought it's not a violent crime, a judge might hold him without bail.

2. Why do you have that much meth?
3. How stupid do you have to be to announce that you have meth to millions of users?
4. Get rid of the meth and get yourself some help.

you would most likely be put in a Federal Prison. thats alot of Meth and the War on Drugs will see to it that you would see Prison time if you were caught with it. as for bail probably wont be any.
did you know the majority of people in a Federal Prison were arrested on drug charges?

Most likely that wouldn't fall under state bail guidelines it would become a federal case.

You don't have that much money. But to answer, you have to wait till bail is set by the judge at the hearing.

The Judge will inform you at your bond hearing - but I would suggest you bring some proceeds from your bank job last week.
