I had previously had ongoing problems with this player on my desktop computer. Now whenever I get the message PLAYER NOT INSTALLED, I have to FIRST UNINSTALL and then re-install it. However, on my LAPTOP, after I uninstall, when I try to download, it says I "might have to click on the GOLD BAR to allow the download. THERE IS **NO** GOLD BAR at the top of the page and it will NOT let me install, thus effectively blocking me from all sites which require it, including MYCOKEREWARDS.COM and some game sites. PLEASE--tell me what settings I have to change to allow the download. I am NOT blocking popups so that is not the issue. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

THANK YOU Christian Soldier--THAT worked. I had been holding down control BEFORE but not a few seconds AFTER. Now I can download the new version. Bless you sir and a happy holiday to you and all who answered here.

Try holding the ctrl before and a couple seconds after you click on the link.
If this will allow you to download, you need to reset your security settings to default.

try downloading again but AFTER you close all your programs like office outlook and messengers, etc..
