They're enormously nontoxic so long as you place them in effectively. I've been dressed in contacts for over two years and I have not had any issues. When you buy your contacts the attention general practitioner will exhibit you the right way to insert/put off them effectively. It's quite convenient and does not harm in any respect, however within the establishing you ought to get used to the sensation of touching your eyeball. haha. it is a little bizarre however you get used to it quite rapid :) About the rolling into the again of the top factor...I'm now not certain if that is even viable however my contacts have slipped to the highest/aspect of my eyes a couple of instances however all you must do is appear instantly down and decide upon up your eyelid and it's going to slide proper out. Don't fear, contacts are fully innocent! Good Luck, Hope I helped, Trisha :)

I would get a second opinion for sure. I don't see any reason why you can't get them. You can get non-prescription lenses too if you're willing to pay for them. I wear them because my prescription glasses give me a headache and I think they look horrible on me. I've been wearing my color contacts (freshlook colorblends soft lenses) for about a year and have almost every color (today I wore Sapphire blue over my natural brown) they can be kinda pricey though. I get a box with 3 sets that lasts me about a month and a half for $65. Good luck!

There can be several reasons why you were advised not to wear contact lenses (CL), but most of them can be overcome. If your eyes are dry, or you have allergies, CL can exacerbate those problems. If you have a lot of astigmatism (curvature of your cornea) it may be difficult to get a good fit. But if you can wear CL, there is no reason you can't be switched to colored ones. Your vision should be, with a good fit, at least as good w/ CL as glasses

Anyone can get colored contact if you already have contact. Colored contacts is just the outer layer and coating and has nothing to do with the actual prescritpion of it. I would get a 2nd opinion and perhaps change your Dr.

You can get coloured contacts with a perscription, thats not the problem. Contacts are known to cause diseases, and maybe your eyes are prone to them. Ask him why.

You should call your doctor and ask why. Only he knows.
Coloured lenses are not available in all powers, it may be that your prescription is not available.
