Honestly, what difference does it make? Let him be who he is and let him do what he wants. All of those things are harmless so let him be.

First of all, there is nothing wrong with being gay.
Boys can like shopping!!! It's good that he cares about his appearance, though it may not be considered masculine.
He is just musical. I doubt his voice has broken yet, so maybe he just prefers to sing the girls' parts because they are higher and easier for him to sing?
At 10, it is quite possible that he doesn't like girls. LOL they have cooties at that age, remember? He won't be interested in girls or boys for a while yet. And as for football... not all boys like it.
From what you say about your brother, he sounds a bit feminine, but this doesn't necessarily mean that he's gay or weird. And if he does turn out to be gay, please accept him as he is, OK?

1st of all he is only 10 he is not gonna be macho
2nd of all why cant guys enjoy shopping? Men love to shop ... just for themself tho lol.
3rd of all the songs on high school musical are actually good and there are boy bands in there so that would not make him gay either.
4th of all boys are truly not going to be intrested in girls truly just yet at that age im sure he is just picking up vibes from his sister that he is supposed to act like he does ... the same thing with football
leave the poor kid alone

That has NOTHING to do with whether he is gay or not. He does sound effeminate but that does not mean he's gay. I'm gay and I'm a stereotypical straight guy, tall, into sports, hates musicals and shopping, etc. That has NOTHING to do with his sexuality...besides, he's only 10. He'll like the same things girls do.

It sounds like you don't like this but showing him that you think that this is wrong could make him feel like he is being forced to be someone he doens't want to be. He isn't gay, feminine, and especailly not weird. They don't call tom-boys lesbians, so don't call a "tom-girl" gay! It is okay that he is acting this way, it may be a phase or it could be the way he just grows up.
Good Luck

I think that 10 years old is WAY too young to wonder if he's gay or not. Besides, what difference would it make if he were gay? Seems like you'd be a little more supportive than to ask a group of strangers whether or not your little brother is gay or weird.

He's your brother and an individual... just accept him for the person he is, and worry about your own behavior.
doesn't seem as if he is doing anything wrong?
if he's gay, well, he is... if he's just open to his feminine side, that's ok. having a sensitive guy in the world is a relief!
take care.

He's ten. Why are people trying to make him act like he's into girls at all at this age?
And besides, who cares if he's gay or not? When you ask like this you are asking like there is something wrong with that.

I think 10 is far to young to tell. Not all strait guys are gnna wnna play sport hate shopping and not care what they look like. If ho does turn out to be gay tho hope your family will love him.

A lot of older, heterosexual men are very particular about their appearance, love musicals, and hate sports. He's far too young for you to be worrying and starting to classify him.
