How can I discern if it is God's will for my life? I was at a foreign country after my college doing Missions. After I came back from my Mission field, my desire was to look for a job so that I can go into campus ministry. However, I couldnt find a job for long time to raise support in order to go into ministry. My church seemed like they would support but later they couldnt support me because of their financial issue since they bought a new church. If I couldnt get a job for long time so that I can do ministry although I prayed, try to take action and church is not supporting, is it mean that God is saying "No" through cirmumstances? or is it not from God trying to block me? How can I know?

And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.

Do not murmur, my son, for it is wisdom in me that I have dealt with you after this manner. Behold, you have not understood; you have supposed that I would give it unto you, when you took no thought save it was to ask me. But, behold, I say unto you, that you must study it out in your mind; then you must ask me if it be right, and if it is right I will cause that your bosom shall burn within you; therefore, you shall feel that it is right. But if it be not right you shall have no such feelings, but you shall have a stupor of thought that shall cause you to forget the thing which is wrong

If you are misinterpreting the Word, it will not be God that helps you go into the ministry. Make certain, using the entire Bible to see if you are dividing the Word correctly because there are 3 different dispensations discussed in the Bible.
First was the patriarchal dispensation that does not affect us today except to know how God dealt with those people. Abraham was one person under that dispensation.
Then came the Law of Moses. This was given to Moses and was only for the Jewish nation. This is where the 10 commandments were given to the Jews along with many, many more rules and regulations that are enumerated in Leviticus. This law was nailed to the cross when Jesus fulfilled it on the cross. This was not for us today, either, and Paul, in Galatians 5: tells us if we try to follow it, we must do it all and that we are fallen from the grace of God.
Then came the church that was established using the Last Will and Testament of Jesus. Even though Jesus lived and died a Jew and no Christian was here during His life, His Last Will and Testament was the directive for the church / kingdom of His. Therefore, beginning in Acts, you find the directive for the church that was taken from His Last Will and Testament given while He was on this earth.

Most "Christians" have never studied the Bible to realise they are riding a dead horse, so to speak. They do not do as we are told, rightly divide the word. If you are one of these people you need to study and prove what you believe. Then God / Jesus will truly help you when you go to Him in prayer and fasting.

If you are truly a Christian, then Satan is blocking you, not God.

Often unfolding events and circumstances can reveal the answer to a prayer. The best way to tell if it's god's will is what will be result of the action. Will it bring goodness and holiness? Also, examine your desires. Do they come from a worthy desire or willful, selfish or prideful desire?

What your "ministry" will be may not be obvious. "Ministry" can take many forms. Sometimes, "ministry" is just doing some average job in an honorable and excellent way.

Do you have anyone else praying with you on this matter?
I really feel like you should find other Christians who you can sit down and talk to about this and help you make some sound decisions.

Something like this, you really need more than just you hearing from God; mostly because you're very emotionally tied to the situation, understandably so, and it is going to be very hard for you to clearly hear God's voice.

When things seem unclear, you need to shake the Magic 8 Ball again and see if you get a different answer.

But seriously - I think the best piece of advice you are ever going to get follows:

Imagine you are in a thicket and are lost. You have a machete so you start clearing the area around you in a circle so you can see mountains, and the sky with the sun. Eventually you get to the point where you can see which way is east or west. At this point you make a decision and start heading in one direction.

Start doing this now, or read the book "Who moved my cheese". Either one will serve you well.

I think that there are times when we are seeking out what we want without really trying to listen to God. I'm not trying to say this is what you are doing, but I don't know you and thought that might be a good place to start.
Another thing might be that God wants you somewhere else right now or is going to use you in another way. There are times when we think we have heard from God and other times when we know. Apparently this isn't a "know" situation so the best thing to do is wait, pray, and see. And fasting is for today too, so maybe you should fast for a day or two.

You are in the plan of God. The situations are to form you to face any type of circumstances. You can do job and ministry side by side. Try and do whatever job you get according to your qualification and experience. Don't think that i will do this type of job only or like that. Join in any type of job according to your qualification even the salary is less. God will increase it by helping you giving knowledge. Don't give up. He will use you according to His plan, not as you think, but as per His thinking. His plans are towards good not for evil.

I am not a "religious" person in the conventional sense, but am still spiritual. The answer is simple whether you're a Christian, Muslim, atheist or just spiritual like me, the answer is the same for all. "God", the Universe, whatever intelligence formed all that is, also created your heart. You know your heart to be the wellspring of truth. Follow your heart.

With a mind as confused as yours, the best answer is to suddenly realise that ...
All gods are imaginary and you have been travelling a path littered with lies, scams, confidence tricks, myths and general nonsense.
Move your thoughts towards a life free of fantasy and dreams and enter the world of reality.
Get a REAL job.
Forget gods - they do not exist.
