yes, life. i broke my neck in a car accident in june of 1999. and the doctors said i was lucky to be alive and chances were slim i would ever walk again, i was rushed from a baton rouge hospital to one in new orleans, where i spent a week and underwent surgery and was basically in and out of conciousness the whole time. i remember waking up in the middle of a familiar intersection in the street in the rain with a man standing over me trying to get a response out of me, i looked around and realized what had happened, and started praying immediately, and i continued to pray, after i came home, i was out of work for 9 months, and unable to completely care for myself or my 2 little boys, i was a single mom at the time, so my mom took care of us, and i prayed every day that i spent lying there, wishing i could just get upand hold my babies, i missed my 1 yr. olds first steps, i was there on the couch but i couldn't get up to see him or turn my head, and my family was all cheering for him and he was walking around and i wanted to see, but i couldn't. but thats ok, god was with me, he kept me alive, he gave me a family that loved and cared for me, and he gave me a second chance at life. i afterwards, i learned to cherish life and my abilities so much more, and i also learned who really cared about me during that time, it really shows, when you need people the most, the ones who show up are the ones that care.

God gave me 2 chances at a happy marriage. The first one lasted 53 years. The second one lasted 10 months. Cancer took both husbands.

The time between the 2 marriages made me realize life does not last forever and I should live as though each day will be my last and make the most to make a real impression for good on all I contact in my life. I realize love is worth sharing.

Yes, God gave me a second chance at life. I had ovarian cancer 14 years ago and was given just a few months to live by the doctors, God proved them wrong.

Yes, everyday when I wake up I'm given another chance, so I've had more than two chances. :) I get to learn more about this fantastic Universe we live in and call home. :) Also, God doesn't make failures.... We make mistakes and learn from them, we never fail, we Learn.

Way back in 1981, something happened to me that is too personal to go into in this setting, but the loss was totally devastating to me. God gave me a scripture in Joel that promised to "restore the years the locusts have eaten". I clung to that scripture and never quit believing that God would restore to me the wasted years. In February of 1989, God restored that thing to me. It wasn't exactly the same thing, but it was restored to me and has been a blessing in my life ever since.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to give God all the glory for healing my life and my heart and restoring to me what the locusts of sin had eaten. God bless you!

Yes God told me to leave a church and do some witnessing.I waited. But after 10 minutes I left and on the way to my mission ,I told God I was sorry I was not obedient and listen to you right away.God said I knew you would procrastinate so I figured that into the time you wasted. And sure enough when I got to my destination I was right on time

When I started high school...I went...well, far away from God. He's given me a second chance. I suddenly realized my faith wasn't my parent's faith anymore, something they'd handed down. It was mine now.

Now, we're tight, and the "hard times" I have with Him are easier to bounce back from. :)

All the time. Second chance, third chance, fourth chance, fifth chance.... 211th chance, 212th chance, ... etc.

He has given me an huge number of chances to follow Jesus and be perfect in my love for Him and for my love of friends, family, and my fellow man.

Yea. He did. It was life. He saved me from death. Too crazy to put into words. But I am no longer an Atheist, that's how it molded me...
