Just want to know about your faith:
1. Do you believe in the right God? Why?
2. Is your religion the absolute truth? Why?
3. Are you doing the thing when you try to convert others into your religion? Have you ever thought about the consequences if the religion you believe is not the 'truth'?
4. Is your God the 'best' among other 'believed' Gods and Goddesses? Why?
5. Do you remember how you become a believer? Was it school? Parents?
6. Do you study/try to know more about other religions before choosing the current one? Why?
6. Christians: What do you think will happen to people of other faith in rapture if you believe there will be one?

Please think before you answer, thank you.

1. My gods called to me, so they are the right ones for me to follow.

2. My religion is not the absolute truth. the gods are beyond are complete comprehension. If we could comprehend them fully, we would be gods ourselves. I believe many religions hold portions of the truth, and presumably my religion also has a few errors in it to. All we can do is our best to discern truth from falsity however we can.

3. I do not try to convert others to my religion.

4. No. There are many deities. I follow a few of them. They all have their place and purpose.

5. I learned from a lot of self-study.

6. Yes, because I had no idea what I believed or what other ideas other people had on the matter.

1. Yes. That isn't to say that my chosen deities are THE right God/dess, just that they are right for me. And really, that's all that counts.
2. I have no idea whatsoever. Hopefully it is the absolute truth, because that would mean that I am right. But even if it is wrong that doesn't matter because I would still have lived a happy and fulfilling life, which is what is important.
3. I don't try to convert others to my religion. (At which point I should probably say that I'm not a Christian, in case you hadn't worked it out. But I figure you didn't specify Christianity in the question. I classify myself as neo-pagan, although I realise that it is a very general term.)
4. The reason that I chose my current beliefs have a lot to do with the gods that I believe in. Therefore I would say, yes. The reason is that my gods aren't insecure or vengeful and they don't interfere in our lives. They are just there as guides and teachers and are infinitely wise and loving.
5. Yes. Books. I wasn't really raised in a Christian environment (or other similar religion) so I didn't have that constant pushing towards the one religion. My mum is sort of agnostic and my dad is a secular humanist. When I was about 11 I started reading about religion and recognised immediately that I wasn't Christian. I learnt a lot about Wicca but I was 14 or 15 before I really started to learn and make decisions about my beliefs.
6. Yes. (Mentioned above.) I wanted to find a religion that was right for me. There were certain things that I wanted out of the religion, such as it couldn't be male-dominated and had include reverence or worship of the environment and animals.
7. Not a Christian and don't believe there will be a "rapture".

Hope that helps.

1. What is the right God? My deities are the right ones for me. I believe that I am called by Odin and Freya.

2. No, I don't believe that my religion is the right one for everyone. Nor do I think it's the absolute truth, new truthes will always be revealed.

3. Heathens don't try to convert others to heathenism. The second half of your question doesn't make sense - if you believe your religion is right, you wouldn't feel guilty when others join it.

4. He is the best for me and my religion. He's not even the best WITHIN the religion. All the deities have personalities and faults, like we do. Freya - she is one of the best but I think other goddesses are just as great and other goddesses fit their religions.

5. Lots and lots of searching, research and spiritual searching. I stopped trying to believe Christianity, became a pagan and began exploring various branches. Then I found heathenism and knew I had found WHO was yelling for me and what religion fit me. Wasn't school nor parents although both encouraged me to ask and continue learning, no matter what the interests were and are.

6. Yes. I was raised Christian, studied the Bible and asked a lot of questions. Studied Catholicism, Wicca, Celtic reconstruction, Roman reconstruction, Cherokee beliefs, Seax Wicca, Judaism, Satanism, Anglo-Saxon heathenism..... I continue learning about other religions.

7. Not a Christian so I don't believe in the Rapture.

1. Do I believe in God? Why?

I believe there is a higher Being and we live in a cause-effect world. Therefore, I believe there is a God. However, there is no proof to show there is one specific all-trump God.

2. Is my religion the absolute truth? Why?

For our lifespan on earth, there is not enough proof to show anything about the "correct" religion. I believe my religion because it makes sense to me. I have my reasons to believe, and I feel there is some evidence I found to believe in it. Granted, there is evidence for others, but I just interpret my religion as "most likely" since we can never discover a "absolute" until our afterlife.

3. Are you doing the thing when you try to convert others into your religion? Have you ever thought about the consequences if the religion you believe is not the 'truth'?

I only try to convert if others WANT to be converted. The people on the street, screaming "The end is near!" are absolute ignornant morons. If you don't want to listen, there is no point in forcing my belief. I know what the other side is "supposed" to be, but if you don't want to listen, I waste my breath. Therefore, I only teach if people want to hear.

4. Is your God the 'best' among other 'believed Gods?

I think so. As said in my first answer, we humans have no absolute proof saying anything about Supreme Beings, but I believe in my God, therefore, I say yes. If I don't think my God is best, why would I believe in that God? =P

5. Do you remember how you become a believer? Was it school? Parents?

My parents raised me in a strictly Christian home and believed it blindly until 13. I thought of it, challenged it, but at 15, I realized there is no proof or disproof for a God and now mostly just believe in Pascal's wager, since I figure if anything counts, might as well follow it. However, I fail to see why the Bible is "infallible" and don't 100% agree with it. But, since there is no proof/disproof, I just follow a form of Christianity since it seems ok.

6. Do you study/try to know more about other religions before choosing the current one? Why?

See above.

7. Christians: What do you think will happen to people of other faith in rapture if you believe there will be one?

I don't believe a Rapture will happen in my lifetime or at all. If in the case one does happen though, and if the religion is right, people who don't believe in that religion will be punished in one way or another.

Wow, that's a good quiz...Makes you really think of your belief. Thanks!

1. Yes. He's real, and I know this because he (Zeus) answers my prayers and guides me.

4. No, all gods/goddesses are equal.
5. I did my own research and found this path on my own free will.
6. Yes. Why? Because I hadn't chosen a religion yet.
7. Christianity is a myth.

Yes I truly do believe I am doing the right thing. I have a testimony. My religion is the absolute truth. My God is not the "best" God, he is the only God. The truth was restored to the earth. I can not deny it.

I was raised in this church, my parents were baptized when I was a baby. They were looking for a congregation to attend, checked out many churches, none of them felt right. Missionaries came to their door, and taught them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have attended other churches throughout my life with friends and relatives. I have studied the scriptures in school and on my own. I have come to my conclusions based upon my own study and understanding.

Everyone will have the opportunity to hear the truth and accept it, whether of this true faith or not, whether in this life or the next. There are 3 degrees of glory after this, based upon your worthiness, good people are good people no matter what religion they belong to, we will all be saved.
