So, let me get this straight...because the Bible teaches something is immoral you want it banned for immorality?!?! Isn't that just a tad arbitrary?
Just because you disagree with it doesn't make it immoral. Quite frankly, you seem to be guilty of exactly the same behavior that you're objecting to.
No, it shouldn't be banned because you disagree with it.

You are very misinformed and a product (drone) of the mindless Hollywood mentality about Gods Word to mankind. In reality it is people like you who cannot think for themselves and are followers of those who are bitter and lonely and in need of the company they desire which is misery. You cannot seem to get enough of misery so you keep company with it. Christians do more charity work than anyone in this entire world and because a few men have fallen and have cast a dark shadow on the wonderful teachings of Christ and His love, and those who REALLY DO live what He taught, you and your kind use this as ammunition to keep the fires of hate burning. As for homosexuality, if you were as informed as you should be you would know there is absolutely NO evidence that anyone is born gay. This study was done by a gay doctor who studied gay men and his research was considered flawed, biased, and incomplete! The media raves on and on that the findings show people are born gay with no such evidence, and it is misinformed people like you with bitter intentions that want to ban a book that teaches people in the New Testament to " LOVE THEIR ENEMIES"..... Go figure.
I pray you will really find the Truth that will set you free and you can experience true peace.

If we weren't in a free society, the Bible might be banned, as well as homosexuals. I believe the Bible has taught tolerance. I hate the sin, not the person. I still haven't read any hard evidence that people are born gay. Maybe one is born a murderer. Since the Bible teaches that this is wrong, we should not punish the murderer. Then if there is no moral standard, nothing is absolute, so nothing is wrong. I say we keep the Bible as the standard!

No, that doesn't seem like a good enough reason to ban the Bible. Next thing you know, pathological liars will be demanding a ban too, since it condemns their practice.
Ah HA! That's the key. It's the PRACTICE of sin, not the predisposition to sin that is the problem!
I have had and continue to have gay friends. I love them for who they are, not what they do. And I don't think people are born gay or that it is a conscious choice, either...but I do think it becomes a preference.

No...immorality is not a good reason to ban the Holy Word of God. If you believe you were born to be gay, then I would suggest you investigate your thought process. I have read countless research studies in which the overwhelming majority of young people who choose to become homosexual did so because they had been molested by an older person of the same sex.
In natural selection, a scientific process, homosexual animals do not procreate. The purpose of having two genders is for the sake of procreation. Homosexuals cannot procreate together, so they must recruit in order to perpetuate their immorality. I know several people who had been homosexual, or had been told they were homosexual who tried to commit suicide because they did not wish to be homosexual. It is definitely unnatural. They had relationship issues--which, when they received proper counseling understood they had been misguided and even 'touched' by someone who should have been charged with a crime, not praised.

In the first place my friend, no one is "born" gay. The gay lifestyle is a chosen lifestyle. And I'm sure there are many reasons for it. But I can't think of a good one. Even those abused as children grow to be healthy adults and don't enter the gay world. The Bible will never be banned. In the first place it is the most read and most popular "book" in the world. In the second place it is God's law and as bad as our world is at the moment it would be so much worse without God's word to guide us. You have been duped by Satan's evils and I will pray for you. May God open your eyes to the real truth.

No. If it comes to the point of banning the Bible I will have it hidden in my heart no matter what and what I do in my home is my business.
Our thoughts are not God's thoughts.
Sin is Sin. Can't get past it. So according to people who are accepting this lifestyle as ok- what I am suppose to do is tell my kids its OK to have that type of sexual relationship even though it goes against God.... I mean the act of it in itself is not the way God created sex for and/or about. Do I need to go into details?
I already tell my children (what they can understand)- about not every one believing in God.
How do I tell my niece what a lesbian is at 9 years old??Yes she just asked a couple days ago. the subject got changed but...just because sin feels good doesn't mean its right.Smoking is bad/ people do it anyways....then what are the effects of it?
* I used to love to pop pills . I grew up doing all types of drugs was BORN into doing those things so what was the right thing for me to do??
Its not only what sin does to society or others around us but how it holds us back from knowing God because our sin seperates us from God.
I think we all have some type of bad thoughts or Corinthians wouldn't have said "cast down thoughts and imaginations that exalts itself against God" I am saying that if we entertain something in our minds long enough we will want to do it more and more.
I can do ANYTHING I want,period- BUT there are consequences. (Spiritual,physical,emotional....etc) I am responsible for everything I do or don't do. Nothing less nothing more.
Either we accept the Bible as the Word of God or reason and give excuses and think our sins are ok. The Bible says a lot about us turning from our wicked ways...and seek God and His Righteousness so to think we can twist it to fit us then we have it all wrong its not about changing God its about Us being renewed and becoming New Creations Through Jesus.

I'm afraid this is a question that was bound to show up one day...and I'm also sure it will not be the last time we see it.
Does anyone remember which countries have banned the Bible? And now, someone who has all the rights of a free citizen is going to advocate sending a Freedom of Speech country down the road of criminalizing books?
Carry a Bible... go to jail with the crack dealer.
Teach from the Bible... go to jail with the pedophile..
Refuse to turn in your Bible.... stay in jail with the rest of the criminals.
If banning the Bible is supposed to protect children from being deluded, what about the rest of us who have already absorbed the teachings of the Bible? Are we to be gathered up and shipped off to re-education camps?
What if we choose to still believe gay marriage is wrong? Is that the next position to be banned?
What if we continue to teach our children that homosexuality is a choice? Are we to be seperated from our children due to child abuse charges?
Sir...I do not believe you have thought this proposal out. Or perhaps you have and care not about the consequences, as long as the agenda moves forward.
God help us as the days grow darker.

If Identical twins share identical DNA how can one be born gay and one not be born gay. Would through the laws of genetics both twins either be homosexual or heterosexual? Dr. Bailey's and Pillards studies in the early 90's failed to show that genetics had anything to do with the fact that one is born gay or not. As a matter of fact their research proved the opposite of its intentions.
This is scientific fact, not Pro Bible Propaganda. (Lol at Scientific Fact)
No the Bible should not be banned for that would be against Anti Censorship Laws.

No offense intended here, BUT. This is America and we have freedom of Religion and speech. If you don`t like the bible it is perfectly fine for you to not read or own it. However, You don`t get to choose what I read.. You don`t get to choose what the rest of the world reads because you don`t like what has to say.. You are trying to control the world and it won`t ever happen.. People are NOT born gay. It is a learned act.. There is no sexuality at birth. A child does not think to be turned on by ANYTHING.......
Homosexuality is not part of God`s plan. It is unnatural. It is a perversion. I have never seen a male/female chicken ride another male/female chicken of the same sex. I have never seen or heard of male/female animals mating with other male/female animals of the same sex. Same sex animals do not mate with other same sex animals.. It is not done.. EVER
Now having said that. God does not hate the homosexual person. He hates the act. He loves the person..
Peace and God bless from Texas. <><

No, the bible should never be banned. Gays wants everyone to leave them alone, they think that they should be able to choose how they live, yet they want the bible banned or changed. Who is being fare here? I do not believe that people are born gay. Why take away the Christians belief for your own. The bible is our guide. The bible is the word of God. It is wrong for anyone to take their own life. God is good, and he loves everybody.
