I believe in God and has been good to him. But lately money has been an issue. Job is slow and money is less and less. I ma stressing out. I dont have anyone who would lend me money and my credit is jammed. I know a few guys who wants to pay and help me if we can make arrangments. I feel so bad because I know I love God and I don't want to sin. BUt, my mind is telling me I need to do somthing, before I get kicked out my place and live on the streets. I don't think selling myself is that bad. I really don't but knowing it is a sin... what should I do;... I tried getting another job but it is real slow... and timing is difficult... Do you guys think I should just go for the money and have sex for money?

I mostly think this question is a joke, but in case it's not...

You keep talking about loving God; which God or god is that? because that has a lot to do with your dilemma. If you are talking about the God of the Bible, Jesus Christ, then the answer is of course, don't do it! The fact that you even question whether or not you should shows that either you do not believe in the Bible or you don't know what it says. Go to a church that teaches the Bible and doesn't just talk about it. Listen to some sermons from this website maybe: http://www.sermonaudio.com . Get some books on Christian living by godly authors like A. W. Tozer or John Piper.

If this is a joke, then I hope even more that you listen to some sermons...

NO you should not.

Selling your body is (as you know) a sin and NEVER pays off in the end. In the Christian faith, sex is supposed to be an act of true love. In some branches of Christianity (mine included) we STRONGLY disagree with pre-marital sex. In other looser branches, they believe that you shouldn't have sex unless it's with a person you actually & truely love.

Think about how you would feel afterwards. Would you be ashamed of yourself? Would you regret it?

Money is obviously needed to live...but we're only on this Earth for a short amount of time. We'll be in either Heaven or Hell for eternity. Don't you think you should spend the temporary amount of time you have on this Earth to prove yourself worthy to God?

I'm not saying prostitution will automatically condemn you to hell, but it's definitaly not helping you get into Heaven.

I understand what it's like to be short on money. But all I can advise you is to not sell your body and instead try to find another way of getting the money. If it was me, I would try to go to a local priest and ask him for forgiveness & advise.

I know you have a really hard desicion to make, and I know times can't be too easy right now...

So good luck, and I hope that everything works out. I'll pray for you tonight.

NO. Definently not. You have to put GOD and what you believe in WAY before yourself and doing these things. I am terribly sorry for the situation you are in, and even more sorry you have had to come to this situation, but doing those type of things is REALLY not the answer even if god will forgive you, you cannot use that to your advantage. You have to ask yourself what is more important: your faith or your living situation. If you need some money than go to church and talk to a pastor or mentor there and tell them about your situation and how you need money. They WILL lend you some and won't judge or make fun of you about it either. Also, if you have sex for money it will only pay off your bills for a little and then you will be tempted to do it again. Think and PRAY about your situation and god will show you the right way to get some money.

No, keep trusting in God. I have also been in your shoes and almost did what you are planning on doing. I was so hungry and felt like I had no way out. Go to a church and tell the pastor what is taking place. There are Christians that would be willing to allow you into their home, if you lost yours. God will come through for you, you don't have to use satan's devices to get help. There are also agencies that will help you also. Keep praying.

Oh, just pray for money, it will show up.

Oh wait, thats right, that won't work, your god works in mysterious ways and would rather see you on the street as part of his grand plan.

If this is a true question, im not saying sell yourself, but you could always get a second job or welfare. Don't worry about pissing off god, he's not real anyway.

NO one on this site has the right to tell you it is bad or good--what you feel in your heart and your mind is what counts-everyone has to make it through to the next day--but before you do this, and if you didn't have second doubts you wouldn't be asking us, there are things you may have lying around you can sell for money until you get a job---extra clothes, jewelry, some furniture and your BLOOD- that's right- you can get $$$$ for plasma and it's a steady job- getting paid every time you donate it every month.....check it out before you sell your soul...no me judging- you did the judging--good luck to you I hope you work this out in a way you can live with yourself.....there is also the Red Cross.

Are you willing to sleep with just anyone who has the money to spend? People who pay for sex are usually the types who can't get any for free. And if you love God, try to understand that he loves you, and wants to provide for you. Taking this into your own hands may not be the best thing to do. I have faced some pretty tight times financially, and God has always helped me through.

God Bless.

No, you should not do it. I know that times get hard, and I know things get tough, but to sell your body for a little money is not the answer. You'll never live down the hurt and self disrespect you'll have inside. If you need help that bad, there are places you can get help from, prostitution is not the answer.

It's only a sin if you're a guy. God hates teh gaysex.
If you're female, go for it! Dinner, movies, and diamonds are all just paying for sex, too- we just call that "dating."

If you're a guy, and you're getting propositioned by other women... well... that's called "God's Love." Because that's a damned miracle. Don't miss the opportunity.

i think this is pretty tough to answer. you seem to be the kind of person who is at the verge of giving up.What you are asking is similar to some broke person trying to make a decision whether he or she should resort to killing rich people and getting their money because he or she does not have enough...what you are lacking is not money exactly my dear but what you seem to be lacking is being satisfied with the little that you have.Do you realise that there are quite a number of people who are more or even 10 times more broke than you but are living a happy life free from pushing other people's lives on the edge? Go to Africa and you will get the answer to your question and will come with lots of praises for God having given you what you claim to be less.
Be content with what you have. Why do you think people who are worth billions of dollars are still yearning for more? Even if you got more money, you will never be satisfied. Be grateful...thats all i can say.In case of any questions, contact me on luzi_isaac@yahoo.com
