In the origanal hebrew the word for virgin which is "betula" is not found in the verse being quoted but "ha'alma givoret" which means the young woman.

However this shouldn't discourage anyone from thinking Y'shua isn't the annointed infact this verse still atests to him being the one sent.

Since young women is'nt a unique occurence in child conceivements we must then look throughout history and find out who had a unique way of being born, and the only one that could answer that extraordinary account would infact be the story of Y'shua ha'moshiach by his apostles.

And the verse quoted above demonstrates another reason for giving validity to this account which is plainly stated; "Therefore the L-rd [himself] shall give you a sign" why does this quote start off with an element of intamecy with G-d giving the sign, this may be very easily answered, it is because here it demonstrates that it is a heavenly intervention and not man's, and we know from the writtings of the apostles that infact his birth was brought as a result of a heavenly account and no where in history has one ever made a single refferance of an occurance as unique and mysterious as this one. So by definition of what a sign consists of, "would be an account noticable to everyone that a miracle happened there, sounds like the interpretation of chanuka which is considered a sign in itself. This verse practicly answers itself to the validity of Yeshua hamoshiach = which means "savior the annointed"

Mahershalalhashbaz , Isaiah's son. (probably why it doesn't say virgin) 8:1-4 He is referred to twice as Imanuel (8:8 and 8:10) According to 7:16 before the child was old enough to refuse evil and choose good both Rezin and Pekah would die.
