I'm making a cresent roll wreath for christmas breakfast and the recipe calls for sugar glazed cherries in the center. Was wondering if any one knew how to sugar glaze fruits. thanks so much! :)

beat egg whites until foamy....dip the fruit in the egg white, then in sugar....let it dry. That's the easiest and prettiest way I know of!

egg whites work but if you worry about people actually eating them then you want:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
bring to a boil and turn off immediately

use a pastry brush or just dip the fruit in the syrup (sugar water) and roll in sugar

this is tastier and safer then egg whites and gives the same look
