Also how to convert our modern year into Jewish year? Thanks again.

There's a great converter at hebcal.com (see link below)

From January 1 - October 1, 1997 it was the Hebrew year of 5757.
From the night of October 1 to December 31, 1997 it was the Hebrew year of 5758.

Well that depends on the time of the year.

You see the Jewish new year is in the fall so June 97 and November 97 will be two different years on the Jewish calender.

1997 from "our" calendar equates to the year 5758 according to the "Jewish" calendar.
As far as converting - you add 10 years to both and you come up with 2007 and 5768. Keep in mind though, that the Jewish civil year begins on Rosh Hashana, the first of Tishri according to that calendar - generally September/October according to the common US calendar.
