Well, yes and no. Yes, because they might wait till after they get big sales from Christmas so they will have more money to build another building or something. No, because they can really close anytime of the year. I don't think it really matters when they close. However, if they plan on closing close to Christmas, I would think they would probably wait because they need sales. So, yes and no. It may even depend on what the company wants, or what fits its financial needs.

No they will not wait until the first of the year.
Unless there is a profitable reason for them to do so.
These companies do not care about anything except the bottom line.There is no consideration for the Employees.
