I'm an atheist, but unfortunately the same thing can be said about the hot dense state the universe was in before it expanded. Humans have no concrete concept of infinity.

Nobody did, He always was, we as created beings tend to ask that, because we were created, we think, all comes from a creator, but God is God, He always was and always will be.
He never was created. He created ALL Around Him. Just like pswann35 up there above me has said, (he knows) In the beginning was the word, meaning our beginning, in the beginning before angels, before the earth, and the stars and the galaxy, in the beginning was the Word, and the Word (Jesus) was with God, and the word (Jesus) was God, and the word (Jesus) became flesh, (Jesus) and dwelt among us.

Only created things had a beginning. God is not a created being, so He never had a beginning. He has always existed.

God is eternally self existent. In short, He has always existed and was never created. As such He has created all things seen and unseen.

Hope that helps.

You have just asked a blade of grass where the sun, rain, and earth came from. It knows not, neither do we.
