I've owned a taurus millinunm pro 140 for 3 years now, it's my carry gun of choice. It's never given me any problems, very easy to handle and to take apart and clean. It's never jammed just missfires with bad ammo, my home defence ammo has never missfired because I use a better quality hallowpoint for that but practice with a cheaper round, I got mine with the night sights, it's worth the extra $$.

Everything Taurus makes is of very good quality. There might have been problems with taurus in the 1980s and 1990s, but taurus has become one of the best quality brands on today's pistol market. I own a taurus 850 CIA .38 snub revolver, and I've never had a problem with it. Get a taurus, you can't go wrong.

I heard from some of my friends at a local shop that the.380, 9mm and .40s jam. They said the .45acp is great. I have not been able to verify. I am actually looking at the .380 myself.

I dunno about the .40 cal. I have two Taurus Millennium Pros, the 745 and the 145. Good price, decent quality, reliable, and even accurate (for the short barrel).
